That first part with "Feed the Birds" is so pretty, smooth, and makes you get teary-eyed, especially with the bells in the background. But when the trumpets kick in at 0:20, it's just goosebumps all over you! 💖💖💖💖💖

This is the European album of Mary Poppins released in 1965. Soundtrack and movie Mary Poppins (1964) were nr. 1 succes in 1965! I have this album on record, and I m happy with it.

The last part with "Jolly Holiday", not heard in the film, was actually from the movie's early trailers.

i bought the cd in USA with the hope that part was included. It's one of the nicest part of the overture. And it was in the mono version of the LP!!!!! Great deception.
