Donald Duck is also my favorite cartoon character - but is mostly because of the comics. Especially the comics by Carl Barks (who wrote a few cartoons like The Vanishing Private)

I’m glad that you finished your reviews on the Walt Disney Treasures! Donald Duck is my favorite cartoon character too, in fact Walt Disney Treasures is my favorite series of all time. I got my first set when I was only six and they really helped me mold my deep love for Disney and animation history. These sets have brought me endless amounts and I seem to miss them everyday. Also have you ever read Leonard Maltin’s book Starstruck? It has an absolutely wonderful chapter on the Walt Disney Treasures that explains why the series was made as well as why it came to an end.
