The Villalobos team have been called on to save an alleged stray dog wandering around a neighbourhood near a busy road. After rescuing the dog, also suffering from heat exhaustion, it is happily reunited with its owner.

Sassy's owner was so right. Our furbaby's are like one of our children!!! I LOVE DOGS SO MUCH!!! So happy that Sassy was reunited with her family ♥️

I wear my Villalobos tshirts with pride! You guys are wonderful people! There are so many disgusting people out there who hate pitbulls and it really saddens me. Thank gosh you guys helped this sweet girl! I hope this was a wake up call for the owner. She needs to be more responsible for the simple fact she owns a pitbull. Glad this was a happy ending!

Thanks guys, for your work. Especially in the heat. I know how it gets there. I got a Pitty/Rottie mix puppy from a guy recently who was rehoming them at a store. I posted telling him how great she is, and people flagged it, saying the post violated local regs, but I reposted, saying neither he nor I were violating (I was 😡 that they flagged). Pits are legal where I live. I wasnt at all encouraging overbreeding. The guy was so scared, and desperate to rehome his babies. He took from his money for food, and put it into the oopsie litter. So I fed him, and bought food for the puppies he was trying to rehome. I didnt have time to give him info where he could get discount spay, but I will put the info on my post. Again, thanks. I learn a lot from these videos.

People are a-holes. I got flagged for commenting on a beautiful apartment, I would have purchased it had I not had so many rescue animals. Apparently that’s harassment. So is my name…it’s apparently “racist” because it’s not North American.

We don't know their circumstances or if the dog had a collar, not every owner who loves their dog that much dose all that as we can see with almost every lost animal that reunites with their owner. Don't be so judgmental the dog obviously loves her she wasn't that happy to see anyone else

Not everyone has the resources or knowledge to tag and microchip. In many neighborhoods that’s just not a common practice, and people can get lulled into a false sense of security about their dog coming back. It doesn’t mean Sassy isn’t loved. Part of Villalobos’s mission in New Orleans is to provide education and support for people like Shannon who may not realize the importance of or have the funds for tags and microchips. Sassy was happy to be home and is more likely to stay home, that’s what matters.

I keep thinking of all kinds of stuff regarding this owner . You can tell sassy has been bred .... I'll bet she just wanted hee money making puppy machine back ! That woman just played to the camera! I'm surprised that Villalobos didn't make a point to get that owner to do the right thing . Maybe they really can't but I would of taken the time to get that owner to fix her dog so no more puppies wonder if she'd of been so happy to get her dog back then ? Bet not ! Jmo. This makes me sad and angry . Too bad Tia didn't see this . Tia sees thru people . The girls don't yet . I pray that poor dogis ok and healthy

Boy was that woman phony - including her hair....surprised she wasn't wearing 6 in eyelashes as well. If she really cared that much about her dog, she would have had a collar on her with her name and phone number, and the dog would be microchipped.

If people come from a community that's more rural, or they never had dogs growing up, they may have no idea of those services. You shouldn't judge a loving owner for simply not knowing what to do
