Yeah, just got the Mirage 4000 and its..... not as good as the 2000s but man it's still amazing.

Because they had them for absurdly long time... F1 had atrocious FM for god knows how long, both magics were artifically nerfed for years. Magic II is still nerfed in IRCCM department. Mirages IIIC was only meta defining jet when it was added years ago and then, everything came super late. F1s should have came with F4E and 21bis, they came with what, after MLD and F14 iirc. 2000C was okayish but both missiles nerfed. Only now they are becoming comparable to other nations due to fixes that came years after they should have came.
