I tried cause China has some decent stuff and the J-11 looks cooler than the Su-27, but I couldn’t do it 😂 I ended up just finishing the Russian tech tree. Plus I was able to get the MiG-29, not the best plane in the game, but it’s sexy asf.

You can, but I've lost those ultra rare 1v1s when I have the extra mount tanks (idk what they are called) on when I take the 8 missile loadouts. Plus most matches don't last long enough to need them.

Ever get "Connection to the server was lost"? I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of it happening because it pulls my plane down to the ground. Edit: Nice little manuever at the end haha

Usually restart my internet all together if it keeps happening. Also check which servers you are on. I play on the US servers and I don't really get that problem too much.

Lol I get up-tiers, and its usually boring haha. Generally me doing the same thing climbing, launching. Only real difference is I don't fly around alone when I am in the F14B. I'm usually with my team a lot more haha. Just more passive from what I usually do. If I still have the clip Ill show a 1v1 vs a SU-27 haha.

Thoughts on Aim-9L I'm flying with Japanese F-16 and Aim-9l and Aim9F is the best choice but they are both bad compared to anything at this br

The Aim-9L is a great missile, a bit more flare hungry now. But if you're shooting it at a really hot target like the F14-A/B it will probably hit most times. Same for the Sparrow, they have always been a bit buggybut they are useful!

Oh yeah it works! HOWEVER you can not be damaged at all when you do that. If you are it will "kill you" and you will not be able to spawn back in! You can change weapons, fuel, hell even the skin you're using. It only works in Air Realistic Battles though. So don't try it in a ground match if you have a plane!

From what I've seen yeah. I have a clip from a F15 vs 4000 1v1 and I lost. Took the extra tanks off and I've won more 1v1s vs F15s now. The 4000 is already VERY heavy, so taking off as much extra weight as possible doesn't hurt!

Missiles wouldn't have made much of a difference, the fuel on the other hand. As the title says first dogfight of the day. I was just warming up. Already have a binding for jettisoning ordinance.

Oh like my highest and fastest? Well my fastest kill was from the Mirage2000 (Mach 2+) on a bot account so I don't really count it. The absolute highest kill was in the Eagle when it was first added. I have that clip but from the pov of another player. (my pov was corrupted) that was at like 40k feet on a damaged J11. I can post that clip tomorrow if you want!

I'm like 90% sure the Russian missiles get a lil extra love bc that's not even the longest distance R27-ET shot I've gotten. I know I had one on a Tomcat at like 23km at high alt.

@@sTix43_ Probably because they needed to balance the game after Aim9M's. I've also noticed it with Aim7M's though too; SARH missiles might have a close range ARH? It's especially interesting because the russian missiles have ET and ER versions. Maybe they're a bit mixed...

bro how do you get the aim54c's to hit? I do the same thing and climb to about 8000-10000 meters, use TWS mode and shoot at about mach 1, but the hit rate is so low :(

Same here, you're outta your mind if you think this is every match 🤣, I wish tho. Nah but generally you just have to catch the premium guys who all cluster together. You can usually see them in TWS-HDN. I more so use the AIM-54s to make the other team focused on dodging missiles rather than the actual furball that is about to take place haha.
