I've been really enjoying trying to turn the Steflos into a blast AOE machine.

This is better with the normal Zarr. Not only because it has 10x better ammo economy, but unlike the kuva version DE never nerfed the bomblets, so you can fire off like a dozen little bomblets on impact which can add blast procs.

Been tempted to try some weapons that are very single target focused with a build like this, thanks for the helpful video MC!

Definitely gonna try this on frost, his 4 with the augment will give overguard for knockdown immunity and do a full armor strip. Thanks for the build!

I like the elementist mods cause that 90 percent damage is basically just under having one stack of viral on an enemy for the status damage. So it let's you swap viral for one of this and another mod. Though multiple stacks of viral would do more. Still let's you try things

I really appreciate this one because everyone loves the Zarr and I've just never been able to see the appeal: the tiny magazine, the insane reload time, the paltry single-shot. Watching this has taught me *where* to shore up those deficiencies and *how*, by which I mean I have to grind out a full Merciless and actually put on that Prime Sure Footed. But even before patching those gaping wounds, I'm already having a lot more fun with this build. Thank you!

The thing with the new blast is that it acts almost like slash but without viral boost, so after some testing I've found that corrosive/blast setups are kinda bonkers perfect equal to slash/viral... finally thanks DE 👏👏👏

If you're looking for armor strip I think Zarr users are contractually obligated to use Hydroid as their armor strip source for even MORE explosions sourced from cannons.

You can pretty much have a normal viral/hunter munitions build with cannonade and rifle elementalist if using a toxin zarr, just using primed cold damage to get the viral and give extra damage

Big dumb explosives build has got me thinking... do you think concealed explosives could be more than a meme build now? Bring out the old hikou, with an expel mod, fire rate, and roar on top (subsumed on Mirage for triple cloned explosives) - and maybe pistol elementalist could help boost the damage where Hornet Strike never could? And even if not, blast damage isn't awful anymore, so it could still be a good time

I think you could’ve tried incarnon paris blast build with split flights. The radius is not that big, but infinite punch trough can make it work

thanks for reminding me that i have a zarr riven that's been sitting around for four years at this point. Hard deciding on which kuva/tenet weapon to hunt with all the new mods, might go for this one, or the chakhurr, or...

Wondering if is worth to change the progenitor of nemesis "2 instance explosive weapons" (zarr, brahma, lenz, proboscis cernos and ogris with nightwatch napalm) from heat to eletricity so it frees mod slots to get both blast and eletric. I personally would use hammer shot instead of rifle aptitude. Then with the freed slot (60% innate eletric + 60% eletric mod + innate blast) I would put vigilante armaments or heavy caliber for more base damage and spread, or even cannonade (except in the brahma case).

The silliest of blast builds is still the paris prime incarn with its mod :P Also build suggestion, the lex prime revisit for that spicy oneshotting of stalker fanbois (and everything else also of course), my go to on ember to make em go away

taking a decent melee (Im using my nami solo since its incarnon & the one I wanted to work on next) and putting blast on it to use with inaros new 2 and augment, with breach surge over the 1. Calling it the sand blaster

Currently getting some Incarnons and leveling them, and while browsing some of your builds, i was surprised to see the Magistar wasn't among them. How come!?

You might consider dropping plain Aptitude and putting Elementalist there (although I'm not sure how that punch through behaves with the explosive) and running Radiated Reload to further help with the reload.

I wonder how would this build feel if you replace fire mod with cannonade. You have fire zarr so you don't need two elemental mods to create blast.

I think I’d rather use Hammer shot in place of vital sense. A neat way to squeeze in crit damage and status chance while keeping Firestorm. Though this may be cause I want to use a cannonade mod in there too

Mr KZfaq man sir, I can't tell if the blast proc effect is actually doing anything. It looks like the Zarr is just killing everything in one shot. Is it actually even giving the enemies 10 blast procs? Or is it just the upfront damage that's doing it's thing there?

swap rifle aptitude with cannonade and for more serious builds use corrosive blast

I now begin to wonder can rivens now be generated with status damage on them since it technically is a new type of stat bonus for rivens to roll. It would be broken as a stat for Ocucor but sadly the mod slots are saturated on it.

How about the Incarnon Paris Prime with its signature status mod, and maybe some Splits Flight for maximum silliness? That or the Incarnon Soma Prime for explosive machinegun with the Incarnon Mode.

Silly idea: Combine a Blast Sniper with Mark for Death. 450% aoe in a short area, overkill as hell but the *numbers.* Gather frame recommended.

Yeah this would be good if DE weren't idiots and gutted the ammo pool for Kuva Zarr.

Firestorm is a huge waste here when compared to something that actually favors your stat gaps like Hammer Shot: This isn't really a silly Blast build when you don't even hit 100% status chance.

Time to nerf AOE again.
