Maxing Melee Influence increases duration AND radius, so the build would be even better with maxed influence

A couple recommendations: - Corrupt Charge is a free x2 damage that I believe double-dips on the shock procs - Amalgam Organ Shatter provides heavy attack speed at the cost of IIRC 5% crit damage

Wouldnt Amalgam Organ Shatter be good? Iirc, it trades a little bit of crit damage for heavy wind up speed - good for getting the throw faster

I do wish DE could untangle glaive's melee and throwing function from the melee button cause I'm one of those weirdos that actually wants to use the glaive's melee combos. I know it's the weakest damage element of glaives but astral twilight's combos are just so freaking cool and would love to use them reliably without the game randomly deciding a melee button input was a throw input.

A Xoris build I was having fun with was an elemental-less build: SacPressure, SacSteel, Blood Rush, Weeping, Organ Shatter, Killing Blow, Power Throw, and then Volatile Rebound. All you do is throw. It'll bounce around everywhere, exploding, procing electricity, building combo, and scaling it's damage because of the combo.

I’ve never tested it myself but wiki states that Power Throw is multiplicative with base damage. I would also say, “put on Corrupt Charge” but the rest of the comments are probably already typing it.

Just something I want to mention. On heavy attacks (both normal and glaives) combo direct multiplies the damage so using corrupt charge on glaives will basically give you a free 2x to you damage. Also on glaives amalgam organ shatter's heavy wind up speed will speed up the time it takes for you to throw the glaive for very little cost (the speed will technically create more damage than the 5% CD your losing out on). Anyway great video MC I love how you take weapons that aren't traditionally good and prove that they can work. Keep up the good work!

Hey, it's the Xoris! I was thinking of asking for a video on it with Arcane Influence. I remember it being my go-to glaive before sticking to Glaive Prime, but last week it was one of the Deep Archimedean melee suggestions and I went for it. so something from my own testing that i found out is you can actually proc tennokai on throws, it can only trigger once per throw regardless how many enemys that are hit. i find volitile bounce more amusing to me, get the right crowd, it just triggers so many times quadraticly. does get to a weird point if you dont got more then 5 enemys on armor, it just doesnt proc enough, but because if not killing till those bigger groups, you see those bigger groups try and crowd till they all just die from all the insanity

I'd love to see you try out the cortege with a corrosive build now that we have green shards, with full strip I feel like the heavy flamer could do some good work. Would also be interested in seeing you take a shot at making the secura dual cestra work well, I tried dual cestra in circuit the other day and they felt really good to use, so I'm interested to see how you'd approach them! Since heavy forces electricity proc you can actually put corrosive combination on your xoris and still get benefits from melee influence while dealing more damage to armor and stripping it. Secondary or pet can take care of viral.

An underrated weapon you could have picked is the Falcor, which procs electric on a *regular* throw, meaning you can build for volatile rebound and max the combo!

So many combinations can work. Corrosive build, full heavy build, hybrid. Endless fun and damage

If you build Corrosive on the Xoris and have 2 emerald archon shards, you can spread 14 Corrosive procs easily so you get electric with armor strip all in 1

With Nukor Kuva, you can clear whatever you want, i love this combo. (Or Zakti Prime, Cyanex and Epitaphe, maybe less good, but fun to use)

This is the weapon that got me through the star chart. "Get Xoris as soon as you can" was the best advice I got when I started.

Xoris is fun with volatile bounce and mark of the beast as well, both rare and expensive mods though but fun to watch the bouce through crowds and the extra crit from beast is silly.

I got a Riven for this and haven't made a xoris build yet

i rember when ivs sold my first one, grinded for it for a wile and i wonder why i did sell it the thing DOMINATES with the right setup. its also a great melee with lavos.

The only thing better is the Glaive P of course. But it's a waiting list to get it from prime resurgence. Personally I use the glaive, but I do also have a riven for it that's viral +attack speed so I can run electricity on it for influence.

I wonder if i can use it with Nezha 4 augment. It can be fun

Gas/Electric! I can't be the only one who's found this to be an excellent combo with any Melee Influence build, can I? At least when you're using another Viral primer, and another armour stripper. The Elec stun holds the enemies in the gas clouds. Especially with forced Elec procs. Though for Granum Void farming I load up as much Corrosive damage as I can get.

Now I'm wondering which build MC would use against Void Angels (not including Amps since he's already explained those). Void Angels are weirdly common, not even counting last year's event. They're optional in most Zariman missions, mandatory in Armageddon but with one less health bar and you also need to defeat them to bring back anyone that has died during a Deep Archimedia. Of course, it could be the case Mr. KZfaq Man™ isn't interested in that content since there wasn't much to do in the Zariman until the Omnia Fissures released.

Ok so I've always wanted an answer to this question. Why don't we melee with glaives for? I know part of the reason is the explosion for some of them but if I do want to actually use it in melee are there a few glaives that would be viable with?

another free weapon and is good tho imo falcor with influence is better because u dont need to heavy attack to get forced electric which means u can build status chance and corrosive to armor strip and dps large areas yeah u should do some glaives especially with the blast changes

Havent watched fhe whole video yet but if you mod for straight toxin you get corrosive but keep your elec forced procs on heavy, for furst build swap 60/60's to corrupt charge and primer fever strike and put bane mod over the elec mod imo

So, I have one for you, Broken War. I just rebuilt it because I like the way war looks and wanted more normal swords. Then, I realized it actually has some crazy stat distributions. 35% Crit Chance, Mostly Slash (unlike War for some reason), and 26% Status, I feel like I never see anyone use it, and I personally never even thought about it past it being a component for War. Having a blast with it, hope you do too, keep up the good work man!

I really just wish they would fix the light attacks on Glaives, because I love the combos, but I don't really want to throw them, like once in a while maybe, but I really wanna chain the combos, I wish that throw was on Secondary Fire or something personally, but I know I'm not necessarily a majority Opinion.

My two friends wondered how I got all my tenet weapons so easily and it was all thanks to the [Xoris] needless to say they were converted.

You technically dont need to run shock for melee influence, since xoris force procs electric regardless of mods. I run corrosive/heat. I may swap it to viral now though, or heck magnetic when jade drops. Doht think it can proc corrosive stacks that well, so i should probably swap to viral.

if you dont care about using your secondary whatsoever, theres plenty of one-handed pistols you can dual wield just to have a syndicate radial effect bonus active 😇 ie i have a furis equipped with the winds of purity mod for new loka's radial effect

So more crit chance over melee damage from PPP?

My one complaint is that this fails to use the Xoris's built in combo mechanic. I mean, of all the Glaives that could benefit from Tennokai and Blood Rush/Weeping Wounds this seems to be the most obvious choice due to its gimmick literally being INFINITE COMBO DURATION.

honestly I'm not a fan of this thing because it felt extremely weak compared to Glaive Prime and on top of that running the Volatile Rebound build has a bug where the combo count resets itself to 0 after a time and they haven't fixed that issue at all and likely never will and before someone comes in with the whole "you built it wrong" speech I've run this thing with the exact same setup as my Glaive Prime minus a riven and did a full comparison and Glaive Prime outperformed it on all fronts and as said even with Volatile Rebound it bugged out and reset the combo counter without me ever hitting the heavy attack on it so I'll happily stick with Glaive Prime over this thing
