I wouldn't worry overly much about Nihil escaping, least of all in regards to Helminth. If the infested are good at ONE thing, it's fucking up everything that tries to subvert it.

I dont think the warframes can turn on us, why? : Ordis (durring the sacrifice): "warframes are Transference proxies for the starchild, they DO NOT have memories" except Umbra (probably the transference-bolt, since no tenno had linked with that Design). The Rhino prime entry might raise a few questions, but if its all because of the Transference-bolt, it could be that something went wrong with the cultivation process. But if you should worry about an enemy within, look no further than your friendly helper ordis. How long will it take, that you hear your foundry building something you dont remember starting, a warframe like gestalt moving and muttering its name: "ordan karris", arming itself and impaling you with a spear?

I'd say the size and power of Nihil, might be related to Transference for the size and the ability to due damage is related to his Oro.

seems as though its going to be a weird puzzle that they are unintentionally making and maybe making intentional as the updates go on. while true one could argue a frame revolt maybe a different look at it is a frame civil war, with tenno controlled one side & nihil and co. on the other. and as for the other orokin being alive.....yes with a side of messed up, ballas- killed & turned sentient, nihil- self glassed, entrati family- hive-mind body infested due to workplace accident. point is we may find more but in a worse state to those ones. and speak of that bed, who's was it if not our operator? as they weren't allowed in that room(only nidis was allowed cist-less).

Funny enough I went and stuck Nihil right in front of the Helminth's mouth once I got the Oubliette. Fast forward to me watching this video and you start talking about Nihil planning this out come from the beginning along with other possible scenarios and maybe he can control Helminth or the inactive Frames. It gave me chills. Think I might go move Nihil tonight.

Two thoughts here. First being that if the Orokin created the weave and glassing and the viewed themselves as gods it's not surprising that the could exert some control over their projection/region which they inhabit. Two for the items we collect and put on our orbitor it could be possible that the moral sun/moon/neutral choices we made in some missions could affect how we deal with those potential worst case scenarios. As an aside concerning any surviving orokin it's not surprising that some may have found ways to survive seeing as we have the twin queens, ballas and now nahil bouncing around. That or the kuva the worm queen is collecting may come into play in some way, shape or form.

As much as keeping any potentially lethal enemy alive is always a bad idea, I must admit the idea of the Glassmaker being an evil Genie situation can be very interesting for a coup arc or a war arc or a universal succession arc.

I know you aren't a massive channel I am just another one of the few thousand subscribed but this lore and deeper thinking shit you put out... keeps me interested in warframe still. After the 7 or so years of playing it as a grind the story just feels lost sometimes when it takes so long to develop.. so thank you for bringing a light on a somewhat forgotten part of the game for an old player like me.

Before I understood this lore... After I played as Gara Prime (My first time) when I used her ultime attack, I though Gara is actual Glass Maker, before I watched lore video.

I think the fingers are physical manifestations of parts of the void that where trapped in the normal realm

I think people give DE a little more credit than they deserve, i wouldn't be surprised if DE watches these kinds of vids then crafts the story to what the 'fans' speculate

Before Nihil i didn't realize the threat, but placing Nihil inside our Orbiter alive, an orokin who could easily hide from the Tenno for so long, just felt wrong, irresponsible and reckless... Nice theory, i'm always looking forward for your videos!

I have a theory that when Nihil says he’s whole and entire, he’s unaware he may be lying about that fact. If those glassed are in any way akin to a cephalon then anyone glassed, much like a cephalon, would have their own little avatars and we know that at least with Ordis that the avatar reflects their mental state (Ordis is cracked) Nihil’s little avatar hologram thing above his bottle is cracked and quite a bit too. I think that in the ending when Nihil is attacked by those he glassed they actually damage his “data”, his mind, possibly for good. This is also an interesting way that could explain as to why he repeats messages, he has a lapse in memory, I could be entirely wrong but it feels similar to something like altimeters. Does this mean he’s defeated and kinda invalidates your really nice theory about nightmare situations? Yes and no, if he’s fragmented he could be repaired. I know if I was able to put myself into a sort of weave where I also have control that I’d make some form of backup, one that would also be loyal to me, said backup may just not be active.

All those quests, those characters, this anxiety about something colossal coming for us very soon, everything that is happening since the Apostasy Prologue, it is all taking us to the Duviri Paradox… it will be a new beginning, something huge, HUGE, is coming for us. Also… I still can't be serious when I see Nihil dying like he's a The Sims character

our obiter is conected to the weave, the infested hivemind, the grineer and corpus coms network and the void (we definitely have a void finger drive in the orbiters basement possibly a hole ass hand in thair the orbiter is about as big as a Boeing 747)

I’m... Pretty sure Nihil *is* a cephalon though, and the reason he appears like that is because it’s his part of the Weave, as Nora says during episode 5 - it’s an abandoned corner. Episodes 3-4 led me to believe he was a living Orokin, along with his teased reveals, but Episode 5 seems to suggest that no, he is actually closer to a cephalon. His ‘instrument of judgement’, Vitrica, is used to glass, and we know that glassing is necessary to create a cephalon. Or at the very least, begin uploading a mind to the Weave. The fight dialogue shows us that the victims from episode 1-3 were found by Nora when she was attacked herself. And what do we see? Nihil’s own glassed body in episode 5. Nihil is not referred to AS a cephalon, but I’m fairly certain he is one - if not before the fight, then he is now, oubliette and all. A cephalon oubliette seems to be their actual, physical server. Cordlyon from years ago mentioned that Cephalons do need a physical anchor to the real world, and that they do in fact have servers. Nora also calls the oubliette ‘tiny little hells’, referring to the fact the glassing and subsequent becoming of a cephalon is in fact a form of incredibly cruel punishment. Why can he do damage? Simaris explains in Octavia’s anthem that physical beings can be joined to the Weave, that is, transported into it - actually BEING there. Simaris’ refusal to help you in Octavia’s Anthem and a line he has during ESO reinforces this: “For you, failure has real-life consequences.” About the second half - The Warframe cephalon fragment states that in-depth information about the Warframe mandate is forbidden to all but the Seven. There is no direct confirmation as to if Nihil is a part of them. It’s likely he worked with them, but wether or not he is a part of them is up in the air, towards a no if you ask me. Though he does seem to know about the Tenno, addressing them as children in episode 5. I don’t think he can control the infestation though, considering his domain is Cephalons. Fairly certain that Warframes also can’t turn on us because many of them rely on transference to be able to function to begin with. Truly sapient frames seem to be ‘originals’, which are not the ones we own. Either way, if DE would like to re-involve the Glassmaker, I’d rather him be his own thing, since I like his character as is, without being tied down to much else in the lore. If you’d like to debate this, I am certainly open to doing so... Because I’ve fallen into a true rabbit hole over this nightwave, right up to translating the Orokin script on the legems from episode 5.

To the question of death for the orokin i dont think itll stop for them to come back. As father has said too that they think if it gets to bad they may use transference to pass onto another body. But thats if they do find their new bodies to their liking which im sure some of them may go down with the ship.

I have always believed the Orokin where still alive. 7 Orokin have been discovered so far. Balas, Nahil, and the Entrati. Nahil tells you he has glassed many and if we let him out he would show us where they are. They are coming back. After the new war, after we repell the sentients from orogin system back to tao system they will reveal themselves. There goal was to take over the Tao system anyway when is the best time to move? When your enemy's are weakest.

Ordis turning on us was just a nightmare we had while unconscious in the brief time following that transference overload that severed our mental link to our war frame, wasn't it? Does it still count if it was all in our heads?

Pretty sure that the finger in the railjack is one of Mr. Entrati's fingers. At least, that's my interpretation of the deimos lore stations.

I still don't even think that was really ORDIS during the purge precept thing in The War Within, because he didn't talk right. Like, he said stuff like "use your void stuff" when he actually knows a bit more about it and he knows what it's called. It felt like someone was acting LIKE Ordis, rather than actually being Ordis,especially when you can hear his voice again saying CUT THE LINK!! War Within is one of my favorite story quests because that entire sequence with the Tenno on the mountain regaining their abilities is so surreal, and it's clearly a dream of some kind, and likely controlled by the man in the wall. On topic though, PERHAPS it's not a good idea to keep these things everywhere, but if Ordis wants to turn on me, I feel like I probably deserved it. The Operator is so mean to Ordis it breaks my heart.

What if the Entrati never thought themselves as gods and just Ballas and the seven (The more richer Orokin) who disconnect from their brothers and sisters to bring fear to those under their rule; thus the glass bottles of tiny hells.

14:39 - Nah, Umbra and co were humans. Warframes we use (other than umbra) are built, same as the original primes (as per prime trailers and titania quest which outright has the lady stealing components needed to build og titania for her own project, not a over a week infestation as with umbra). Its why warframes can be AI overwritten/warframe specters (the rails guardian ones not our summon companions) exist. And as far as a takeover/backstabbing, nope, no regular frame works without our tenno void devilry fuel. Even subject 9 barely functioned after the moon left the void and got blown to smithereens by enemies we slaughter by the hundreds (in railjack or lua farm) and have already prevented a invasion of them... and its questionable if stalker is a infestation converted into frame or built with still sleeper tenno. Also Nihil IS a cephalon. He glassed himself, got connected to the weave/net by the 2nd and 4th victim (the corpus-info frequency to rat out SU) of his glassing and we then re-imprison him. The entire quest (and investigations) happen in the weave. If one wants to prose and be poetic about it, its also why orokin likely called their oversized USBs cephalon oubliettes. Where only one on the outside (of the weave/web) can free or even functionally interact/grant those fallen/imprisoned(glassed) in the cell anything other than water (info on the weave/web), with the extra insanity value of (usually) being solitary confinement. Tho to be fair he would probably be worse at his job when integrated to be a cephalon than J3 since, FOR SOME GOD FORSAKEN REASON, we didnt get to give him the Ordis mind wipe treatment.

That finger REALLY bugs you. Thing is, I haven't gotten to play for a while. Only recently getting back in. Now from what I gathered so far, Vor called Tenno blood "divine." Vor became merged with the void, going babadook on you once in a while only in the void. Thing is, using RE 8 as a base, the Orikin basically had a collective. A sort of give consciousness. Taking whatever existed and "corrupting" it as it were. The upper Echelon had means to live forever. Natah had a normal, just slightly above average humanoid size. The times we saw Hunhow and now the Glassmaker. They're huge. I think Hunhow's race and the Orikin were two sides of the same coin. So back to my RE 8 thought train... the megamycete stored the consciousness of many. Eveline was like a portable mutamycete. Imperfect but portable. The essences and awareness possibly CAN go rogue on us BUT the allies we built, experiences we gain. They're all connected to something and they all lead back to the Orikin. We may not be there yet but us Tenno open sealed doors to find out what's inside and there's a Pandora's box coming. Something that could be embers to the flame of an all out war and everyone is invited. Thing is, when that time comes and the galaxy is on fire. I can only hope we're ready.

Nihil's place beside my seat in the transference chamber isn't ceremonial; I fully expect him to find his way out. And he'll be needed when the time comes. A hunter places trophies as a predator hunts prey. Each one has a place and serves a purpose. Trophy, from the Greek tropaios, merely indicates a change. A turning point in events; from one state to another. It is not an end. The Tenno aren't timeless, ageless, or immortal. We will come to an eventual and inevitable end. So we must put into motion a series of events to ensure that humanity's existence can continue without us. In whatever form it takes, we act to preserve the human race; not as it is now, but as it could be in the future. Without a predator to cull the weak, a species grows stagnant and marches toward it's extinction. The Tenno are not hunters, our role is not so mundane as to provide now for our charge; but to provide for the future of all we can. Our role is as herdsman, tending the flock, staying the predators when they are weak, and appeasing them when they are strong in an effort to preserve the flock. Without us, they will need to be able to look after themselves... Or find a new shepherd.

just spit-balling but, with the information in this video about there being more orokin, could the entrati family have at least one more member outstanding? this might be a reach but before they are named, they go by grandmother, mother, father, son and daughter.......if we look at the names from the point of view of who would call them each by this name, it leaves a gap right between the parents and the children........could their messed up memories hold evidence that daughter and son are not the children of mother and father but grandchildren? then where is the orokin who is missing,?

i mean,the threat of a warframe revolution is big until duviri releases,after that though,the turns table edit: well,we have necramechs now,so maybe even now we still have an advantage against a frame revolution

It seems to me that Orokin popping left and right is clear evidence of desperation when it comes to universe building and lore. There is no sense in having Entrati who casually work with Corpus and not knowing about them for so long! It would have to be impossible to hide the fact that the Queens were Orokin. Though somehow ugly. The Glassmaker is another attempt at exploiting Orokins as a resource for storytelling.

The Statue is an actual representation of how big he is since that is his actual physical body but glassed. The Cephalon Weave is not the representation of how big he is.

I like to keep my friends close, and my enemies closer. I too noticed that Nihil doesn't seemed phased by his imprisonment, though I passed some of it off as bluffing. Interesting idea that perhaps he wanted to get onboard. I don't think he'll be able to control our Warframe though, the helminth strand of the infection in them is docile, it doesn't act upon it's own. They are more or less biological machines. Except for Umbra, who was allowed to keep his mind (somewhat) as punishment. I do like the idea of our frames turning against us though in some way, a sort of Dark Link of Warframe. Imagine having to battle them after modifying them to perfection. Perhaps the man in the wall can do something like that. As for Nihil, I like to think that he has something up his sleeve. Perhaps something with Ordis. Some forgotten memories that he really needs, something of the old war, or some codex on surviving Orokin. I enjoyed Glassmaker, and I'm hoping for more ideas like it.
