Nidus one seems to be, in racin' terms: higher acceleration without changing his max speed. So if you _really_ want to max out ASAP, there you go. Maybe it makes Lava Burst even better, so an augment that boosts another augment?

Partioned Mallet is good, but I may remind: 2 Mallets means 2 targets that need to be hit, so it's not a straight up doubled damage. It really is about the coverage of choke points.

I think the Nidus augment works best in an environment like Sanctuary Onslaught, where he loses some of his stacks upon transition. Being able to build it up fast means he'll be better, faster.

With harrow's augment, I can understand what you mean. But, and I dont mean to sound rude, keep in mind that the augment effects allies as well, not just Harrow.

Insatiable gives you a chance on EVERY STACK so when you gain one from the effect you have another chance, and also the stack gain makes it really useful in long term survival missions when you're getting your stacks taken from his passive

You can put conductor in the exilus slot! Meaning: You can pause the rolly ball. I believe it increases the aggro priority further, some other stuff too. You can also scatter it to lock down an interception even further, it'll leave your partitioned mallets alone.

Actually, the other part of empowered quiver (reducing chance to be statused) might be really good in infested survival since those toxin procs will wreck you

Ivara's augment does seem like a great thing for Eidolons, crits + status immunity are quite useful. You can setup dashwire along the ground, with all the elevation changes, rocks and other stuff it's pretty easy. And yes, 2 mallets are op as all [Hek].

I think Nidus's extra stack augment is meant for the ESO Nidus players. Its rough as all get out trying to get stacks there if you're in a squad thats got room nukers like Equinox and Saryn. It lets him get more stacks even if he isnt hitting a lot of enemies, which tends to happen often in ESO depending on squads. And here you went reminding me of why I dont play Harrow, no matter how much I love him. Hes like that one done-with-life teacher every high school has, thats casually chugging coffee and monsters to make it through the day, because he is legit not paid enough to deal with these children or their bullshit.

I used Insatiable on defense missions like Io and got stacks reeeeeally quickly. I think it’s primarily meant for that: building up Ravenous on a defense point and getting a bunch of stacks.

i would say the nidus augment is for stationary objectives, when you can camp in the ravemous pit and have it fuel itself. itll let you build stacks faster to reach higher damage quicker. issue is, its just that. its faster, not more. using the slot for something else might be better, since its not going to change anything late rounds, only earlier. when you dont really need more stacks. raising the stack limit could have been cool, but oh well

An augment that gives Harrow INSANE aggro priority in his first phase of the 4 and then detaches enemy aggro from Harrow while his aggro is restored to normal upon entering phase 2 sounds pretty cool. As for killing, I find it's pretty consistent if you use a high kps weapon with enemy radar, improved further by his own buffs.

Am I the only one who finds the Harrow augment totally broken? 90% Dmg reduction on your whole team and with 4 people taking damage you just need one headshot or two kills to fully replenish your energy, thus totally negating the constant need for your teammates to slow down their kills. Seems worth a mod slot for me.

As someone who leans on Nidus as a crutch on occasion... ehh? Usually by the time I'm using Ravenous I'm no longer concerned with building stacks; I've already done that with the 2-1 combo and I'm using it specifically for area control and healing. The other Nidus Mod I might use simply because I sometimes futz up my larva placements but this one not so much. As an occasional Ivara player... maybe. Maybe. I'd need to test it. Harrow's mod might appeal to me as it seems to be something of a newbie-friendly mod, but as a niche 'newbie-friendly' isn't always the best appeal. However, I know where to get it and I don't know where to get natural talent. Octavia... yeah looks good to me.

A bit late to the party, and you have probably already realized this one, but Warding Thurible effects your allies as well as you,, so -everyone- gets the bonus. Giving up Natural Talent means you can draw out the Channeling bonus to increase damage reduction, as well as bump up the energy you acquire from the ability after, reducing the need to compete with allies and instead letting you recoup most of it with a headshot or two (I was tinkering, and got 400 energy back on a single headshot, out of 425). I would personally have preferred it to bleed your energy, but give allies energy directly, give them the DR, and then the damage they take feeds back to you to recoup the cost, but it's still quite lovely to have to hand. And you are correct, it won't compete with the complete immunity you get from Covenant, but I am reasonably sure that this lasts longer if you're not running Natural Talent.

@Triburos just wanted to say sorry about that updating simulacrum enemy count thing.. I'd submitted a bug to DE about overcapping the simulacrum when the new UI came out by simply spam clicking the summon button as the UI closed and.. that was their fix..

So I know its been a year but for anybody that sees this for every stack nidus has his abilities get stronger and overall alot harder to kill to do stacks can revive you. So just remember if you have max stacks nidus stomps and I think his little bugs(not like it matters for them) will do max damage.

niduses augment allowshis passive to not as much of a penalty, you will be able to gain all your stacks back while your still invulnerable, allowing for long as f&%k endurance runs

With harros augment it fixes the fact that u have to fight ur team for kills because u don't have to kill as man enemies.

But with the Octavia augment, if 50% of your enemies are hitting one mallet and 50% are hitting the other one, then isn’t it less damage overall because the enemies aren’t stacking the mallet’s damage as high? Isn’t it better to have 100% of your enemies attacking one BIG mallet?

Kinda old tbh, but I think your first impressions on the warding thurible was a bit off. It's pretty synergetic because now you wont have to use covenant while using thurible. In party play its a game changer because it allows for Harrow to not need to get all the kills. One headshot and bam! Full energy on the entire team and the Harrow doesn't have to worry about not being able to use his 4 in other circumstances. All in all, it just makes your gripe about Harrow disappear.

i don't understand, i keep reading larva burst and it keeps saying that the damage stacks, not that it adds stacks like your sayings it does. insatiable generates an additional mutation stack, and larva burst only burst the s2, and the more you have captured in s2 the more it hurts with that augment correct?

I'm just waiting for Octavia prime. Maybe with increased base duration?

The nidus augment could be used to keep stacks going even when enemies are one shotting him in stupid high endless. It's really not good though because in order to get use from this you have to wear a diaper to get to that level of endless and also no scaling rewards so it's totally not worth it

Simulacrum needs some changes, get rid of that spawn 20 enemies problem, make the console a tab and arsenal accessible in menu (Like in Cetus/Solaris, not like orbiter), get rid of the death drops... There's more, like maybe previewing polarities and even mod ranks, dropping the tie between mr and enemy level.. I could keep going

The Mallet augment is only good if you are planning on dropping mallets on 2 far points in the map. If you just want to cover 1 point picking the augment is a STRAIGHT NERF. Why? Because 50% less range means 75% less area covered. In other words, if you put the 2 mallets so that their areas of effects are just touching, you'll cover 50% less area than if you were to just put one mallet in the center without the augment. Also (haven't confirmed it) mallets may not share their damage scaling, so if one enemy hits one mallet the other may not benefit from it at all. So you have 50% less area covered and 50% less damage in average... The only good thing you can get from this is dropping 2 mallets on 2 far points like in interception...

Honestly for the Ivara augment they just to switch which arrow gives which bonus. If you're cloaked no one should be shooting at you anyway so why bother preventing status procs? You're a much easier target on the dashwire

The Nidus augment is not worth it You already have a way to double your stacks once you activate Ravenous, AND you get a second stack from the damage done from your 3's linked target You don't need faster stack building. Specially when it's tied to standing in Ravenous
