​@Hmssussex most stormcast have known about "The Flaw" (as its called in-universe) since the Realmgate Wars, aka when Age of Sigmar first became a thing. Kinda hard to ignore when all your friends who have been reforged multiple times start to look and act different. It's something the average citizen of the Mortal Realms wouldn't really know, and from the sounds of it even other stormcast don't tell the new recruits until they notice it themselves

@@stylesheetra9411 Who lied from the very beginning. The Lady of the Lake is the elven goddess Lileath, who needed protectors for her pocket realm while the entire Old World was destroyed. They are also all losers, they lost and no longer exist..

They are awesome in the Gotrek & Felix stories. The earliest ones are like OLD old, so its where much of the modern Skaven lore and personality comes from. They are their own worst enemies constantly in those novels and are just utterly evil. So fun.

Can still kick the snot out of them. Their Clawlord went up against a Liberator - the most basic Stormcast - lost his mount, and nearly got himself killed without dealing a scratch.

Iirc Skaven can literally chew holes in between the Realms but they're unstable and collapse easily. Also, warpstone (the glowy green stuff the skaven use) is explosive and they have a tendency to make cartoonish explosions happen on a scale the orks would be jealous of XD

Skaven have burrowed through the space between realms (and under them) to build their cities. This event, called a Vermindoom, is an unprecedented level of aggression from the Skaven in which they unearth a city 1/3rd the size of a continent and use it as a staging ground to invade Aqshy, the realm of Fire. Hope this helps as we're learning more about 4e in the coming months!

So Skaven race survived, and since then they have multiplied like never before. Skavenblight became the Blight City - a huge array of insane buildings built on warpstone rock of incredibly huge sizes. The Skaven then attacked the Mortal Realms through the space-time tunnels (Gnavholes), but this was incredibly dangerous for the Skaven themselves. So the Great Horned Rat decided to attack by Blight City directly! (This is like the Great Rift in 40k after the Fall of Cadia).

AoS is high fantasy not based in reality so the don't have to pretend to keep things based on realistic historical standards like Warhammer Fantasy, and can add all kind of strong independent woman moments.

The Stormcast killed too many times is basically worn away into nothing, they become a lightning ghost or their soul is obliterated from too many reforgings, also there are weapons and devices that can make it hard for a soul of a stormcast to return to Azyr. After Belakor caused the cursed skies, stormcast souls have trouble returning to be reforged

Age of Sigmar is a fantasy setting and 40k is a sci-fi setting. They're different universes.

@@Martin-so7ep completely different. 40k is our world and our galaxy but 38 000 years in the future. It's science fiction. Age of Sigmar is a high-fantasy world, like Lord of the Rings or Warcraft. It plays out in ots own world and universe with its own timeline. They have similarities, like they share the same Chaos Gods. "The warp" in 40k is the same thing as "the Realm of chaos" in AoS. Technically, they sort of cross over to each other in that way. But in general, as a rule, they are completely separate universes.
