I think you are playing the game exactly how it was meant to be: A fun satirical game that wasn't meant too serious. Awesome to see that not everything is GRIM DARK.

Your games are so much fun to watch. A friendly rivalry, fun banter, and enjoying when cool things happen (either for or against your army) is peak warhammer in my mind. Keep them coming!

@@rogueelementgaming High Elves vs lizardmen! He brought all saurus but i had a stubborn lion guard general and they just wouldnt run. I kept failing fear test against his cold ones so I lost in the end but it was super fun! Cant wait to play again!

Watching you guys is a pure pleasure for my brain. With this 6th edition you remind me the golden age of this battle game. Not only the rules of course, but the way you experience the game is brilliant and let me dream that there are still guys around the corner who feel Warhammer the way I do...(In fact it's over 15000 km in a straight line :-) Thanks for this and eagerly waiting for next battles!

1:33:00 - you can only stand and shoot if the chargers are more than half their charge move away (so 9" or more for wolves).

Classic warhammer, with the gods of dice showing how fickle they are! Good to see the armies growing. Maybe a fun idea to get some variation in these vids is to switch armies for once and see how that feels. Although that might be considered heresy by some...

1:11:00 I remember a nice rule: when you shoot against someone on a hill, you can shoot with two ranks! So wolfriders should have used 10 arrows ;-) Am I right? Well done guys, greetings, it's not so easy to remember so many rules under the camera!

Hey mate! Unfortunately there isn't a rule for shooting in two ranks against an elevated enemy. Just for shooting from an elevated position. Thanks for watching!

Yeah the cannon ball keeps going even if it did not wound! I guess it hit one of the goblins in the head so no harm.. ;)

Any 'unbreakable' unit you'll want to use to lock down the enemy's fighting force, so that you may be able to flank attack them later. Full speed ahead. Hiding behind a fence is probably the least slayer-like thing I can think of ;) Fun game though

Nice, 6th Ed - when i finally joined over from Farty K.. And I started Dwarfs.. Later switched to O&Gs. :) Dwarfs was not my style even though i loved the background and Longbeard models among others (5th Ed cannon etc was cool too!) Best edition? Currently about to rebuild my O&Gs.. Too bad you cannot buy all stuff.

Nice-looking armies too! I love that Dwarf BSB, picked up two under the Skullz thing.. Sadly sold both as i quit the hobby, pretty much, in 2008 or so.. :/

Something that I just learned about dwarves in 6th. The rules for the thunderer's equipment on page 18 of the army book replaces the one in the core. Core - 24" range - Strength 4 Move or fire - armor piercing Dwarf - 24" range - Strength 4 Armor piercing (but NO move or fire!) +1 to hit at short range It doesn't always matter, but is awesome for those times you need to wheel just a bit to get line of sight. This blew my mind!

You didn't measure out the distance the goblin wolf riders charged. I get the feeling it was within normal movement - which means you cannot stand and shoot. Not entirely sure due to the difficult terrain but I suspect they were within their normal movement range. EDIT: You measure it later. They move 8", so 4" over difficult terrain. It looks like they're moving 4" which means no stand and shoot, but camera perspectives are a dodgy thing and it was really close.

Shame those wolf riders went onto the hill before shooting those thunderers. They could have fired both ranks at units on the hill...

Page 60 - troops on hill can shoot with one additional rank. Nothing about shooting with additional ranks at people on a hill.

Bolt throwers stop if they don't kill. Cannons continue no matter the wounds.

Yeah cool. Was defs aware of bolt throwers stopping but wasn't sure about the cannon. Had a comment on one of my other vids saying the cannon ball should have stopped after not killing a Troll.

@@rogueelementgaming Back in the day whenn I played i often used 2. The Opponents did underestimate them. The best Thing was the Template and that it caused panic as long as u killed 1 guy. I had so many players with big units failing their Tests and running before the game even started for them. I remeber a game where 1 ork was killed by a Flame cannon in 1st turn. His unit paniced and half his army joined them

@@rogueelementgaming I'm making a hordes of chaos army using mostly 3rd party models (plus a few old marauders and warriors mixed in), heavily converted and modified with green stuff mutations! My best mate is also starting, by 3d modelling some of his own dwarfs to print.
