Warm ups - Forward Outside Draw Ups

Күн бұрынThis exercise is a fantastic warm up for Figure Skaters wanting greater edge control, and is especially relevant for Ice Dancers.
Drilling a curve transition in this way allows us to learn to conserve momentum and also become more powerful due to a better preparation for our next push.
This exercise also gives us an opportunity to tune in to the relationship between our position on a curve (point that we are on the circle) and the flow of body shapes that aid us to employ greater control.

Enjoy this channel and your professional advice. Could you do a video tour of the skating rink? It is beautiful with all the brickwork. Would love to see it highlighted by a narrated walking tour.

Thanks, Alexandra Palace is the most iconic ice rink interiors in the UK. The entire venue has the architectural wow factor…and the view over London 😍

I could see the fall in the screen as I recorded…so unfortunately, yes I did. Kid didn’t hurt himself, but perfect timing for my one and only take for this video
