Thats crazy! I have 20x10.5 with 22mm offset 315 35 20 20x9.5 with 15mm offset 275 40 20 with no rubbing at all.. its all on the offset. And my challenger is lowered by 1.5 all 4 corners.

Im running a 315 tire with 10.5 in rim. Only thing i needed was a 3mm billet spacer been running for over 3yrs now no issues 315s have no rubbing

First and foremost the ride looks dope and sorry to hear you had some issues with the your fitment. Here's my 2 cents and I hope it provides some insight. I spent a couple of weeks researching wheels for my black 2019 challenger rt as I wanted a more aggressive stance. Long story short is I quickly learned more than I ever knew about offset, backspace, etc. This is the most important aspect of aftermarket wheel fitment combined with finding a wheel vendors who knows your type of vehicle in depth and not just happy to sell a wheel as there are plenty of those types out there unfortunately. Since the day after thanksgiving I've been running Ferrada FR3's 20x10 / 20x10.5 with 275/40/20 in the front and 315/35/20 in the rear with absolutely no rubbing or modifications needed. No cutting and definitely no spacers as I'm not down with spacers. I'm at +13 / +20 and even I didn't think the 315's would fit after my tires arrived but they did and they look awesome! I get no commission from them but I would suggest anyone with a challenger thinking of beefing up it's stance, check out Fitment Industries website as you can see what works to include type of tire and offset. I'm posting my black on black 2019 Challenger RT w/black FR3's, and red caliper covers soon so I can share my fitment info with others. The consensuses for challengers is +13/+20 but I have seen some with a +15 / +28 but that's a matter of taste and wheel manufacture. The higher the positive offset, the more the wheel sits inside the camber. I believe you said your @+25 in the rear and that is probably why your rubbing the inner plastic. My +20 doesn't touch anything of course the way the manufacture designs the wheels has to take advantage of the +20 offset in the same way. I hope this helps and great! video. I got my dealer to put 275s on back with the stock 245s in front, wouldn't have guessed they would decide to put the 275s in front and the 245s in back, for a reversed stagger. This does NOT work out well in case anyone was wondering

the offset of your wheels plays a big part in the rubbing as I found out. Installing 5mm spacers solved my issues along with using metal snips to trim the rear area like you did.

Dude you know your car isn't the wide body adding 315's in the front is going to scrape, leave the front ones 275 or 295 or max of 305 but don't do 315's on regular body the rear ones all you have to trim in a portion in side the wheel well so it won't scape on bumps remember your front tires move left and right not the rear ones.

315's for my Corvette go on a 11" rim, why would you even try on a 9" rim? It is a 1985 Corvette and fits, goes to show you that not much progress has been made in tire size. I used 1990 ZR1 rims.

Looks good but tbh 315 is not necessary for the RT it only has 375Hp though prob close to 400hp dodge is being conservative. That being said 275 should be good enough. 315 width for scat and hellcat makes more sense. I have challenger TA also put on 275 does help with acceleration for sure.

So it looks like the shocks are going bad. Tires appear to be chopping. Could be the lighting. I know it's 8 months old. But it could cause the wheels to tuck a little farther when launching

Nawwwww, put them 305's in the back, 275's in the front, especially if you have an older R/T.

3mm billet spacers take that rub away, that's what most us challenger guys have to use, you don't have to use them for the charger going with 315's

How does being on ramps change the location of wheel to rub position?

I just got me some 24×10 looking for a stagger set for my vehicle the older 07 Chrysler Aspen 5.7 I'm slowly working on I was looking at 315s or the 330s in the back

Need spacers on the 315s so it sits further out and doesn't rub. No biggie, easy fix, but poor tires took a beating.

Just swap a LSD rear end in, and 255 tires get you almost perfect traction. Even 275's are overkill lol

Are you seeing noticeable improvements in your traction between 275 and 315? I have 245s right now and plan on upgrading to 275 at the very least.

Do they rub your quarter panel lip any?

I am running 305-40-r20 on a 10.5 rim and i am having the same problem only mine rubs from the driver side plastic but not only that on both sides it nearly grazes the shocks so am thinking of putting spacers
