Killswitch is a must ,just got a king motor buggy, that's the first thing I did ,I had a nitro t maxx run away from me few years ago not good & my cousins 5t throttle servo locked up couple days ago ,good thing he had a killswitch

I don't have a kill switch but if my receiver looses signal with the radio the servo for throttle and brake lock up so the car will stop.

my losi 8ight ran away and drove full throttle into a curb, all it bent was the hinge pin on one of the front a arms and popped out the dogbone axle. i got real lucky, could have been much worse damage.

At least it was a good top speed impact torture test. Remember to secure the receiver and battery pack next time. Also, you might want to rig a return spring on the throttle for safety. I learned the hard way too.

I had a nitro car and the servo slipped and put the throttle wide open and sent it into the Barn and bent it up like you would never imagine. I think it was doing about 90mph when it hit the concrete wall and totally bent it in half and destroyed every part and piece in that car
