Anyone interested should read Ableton Manual- Audio Fact Sheet- Pg. 809. The difference between Neutral and Non-Neutral Operations are explained in depth. Straight from manual- "The algorithms used in the Complex and Complex Pro Warp modes use an entirely different technology from the algorithms behind Beats, Tones, Texture and Re- Pitch modes. Although the Complex modes may sound better, particularly when used with mixed sound files containing many different kinds of audio material, they are never neutral - not even at the original tempo." Just something to be aware of. I was running into artifacts when scrubbing a clip after resampling with complex warp modes. I couldn't figure out why it was happening so after lots and lots of emails with Ableton Support. They concluded it was the non-neutral Complex warp modes causing the issue.

Very helpful, thanks so much, had lots of "static" from the 'Beats' mode for mixing Dub Techno tracks but the 'Complex' mode sorted it right out 🙏🏻

I have been using Logic Pro and Pro Tools for more than 5yrs but I want to switch to Ableton. I can't make the jump it's just too intimidating of a DAW for what I'm used tom So many cool things easily done in it but I don't know why I can't get myself to try it fully. It's so confusing. but I understand the concepts in these tutorials Just subbed btw. detailed content I❤️it
