Swiftpaw never deserved to die all he wanted to do was be a warrior so badly but ended up saving another apprentice from dying instead he is a savior for his noble sacrifice and Brightheart will always see him as a warrior in true heart ❤️

Swiftpaw will always be the best for me, I even put a dried flower on the page where he died. He very much deserved to live and he was the bravest of all cats because the unknown is what we fear most and he didn't know what he would find when he went to find the thing that destroys prey. I'm sure he would be a great warrior. I always thinking him with the Swiftstorm name. May you and all the apprentices who died untimely live in peace in the StarClan, my dear brave cat.

For those saying Sweetpaw was in a coma, that was a fan theory. People adopted it as canon for absolutely no reason. She just purely died of food poisoning. Piece from the book: She pressed her muzzle into her former denmate’s fur. The strange still-ness of her body and the coldness of her pelt pierced Bluefur’s heart. She had been beside a cat like this before-and all the wishing in the world hadn’t brought Moonflower back. Bluestar would have known Sweetpaw was breathing just from THAT alone. Other cats would have seen her breathing while holding a VIGIL.

If you remember, the fight at the river when Birchface was killed by Appledusk after he accidentally knocked Birchface in the violent, rushing river. Flowerpaw’s attempt to save Birchface led in both of them dying. Just a heads up, again, Flowerpaw is a easy cat to forget.

Shrewpaw was the sadest and the worst death for a reason for me. He wouldve been perfect for squirrelflight. Ashfur was too bossy, brambleclaw was abusive. He wouldve been perfect but the writers had other ideas.

Swiftpaw was always my favorite apprentice, it makes me so sad bc he was my fav character. All my fav characters die or are evil, I was so sad when he died, (ok don’t make fun of me lol, but I cried when he died.) He was so sweet, and all he wanted was to just be a warrior. I wish that he got too, he was literally 18 moons, he was already the age of a warrior too and yet BlueStar wouldn’t make him a warrior. If she did, then he would’ve never went out to figure out why so much food had went missing. (I think.) (Spoilers for Scream 5) Even Richie was my fav, he was so funny, and he made me laugh and smile everytime I saw him.. I was so sad when he was evil, bc I knew he would die.

Now that you mentioned Duckpaw, Tanglepaw and Rushpaw, there are some cats i think died but wasn't confirmed by the Erins. Jaggedtooth- We never saw him after The Darkest Hour Nightwhisper- He was in the first arc and Tigerclaw's Fury, but what happened to him after??? Deerfoot- I never read his trivia or any book he's in yet, but I never heard of him in the first arc, but he was in Tigerclaw's Fury. Did he die during Tigerclaw's Fury?

I saw everyone talking about how Swiftpaw didn't deserve to die, and I am just over here thinking: Gorsepaw didn't deserve to die. To my full understanding, he wanted to prove to Bluestar that he was a strong and brave warrior just like anyone else, right? And this was because Cloudtail was made an warrior before him, right? I get that he was protecting Brightheart but it was his choice that put her in danger in the first place and got him killed. He (And brightheart) chose to go sneak off to find out what was going on. It was his own actions that put them in danger. It was his own actions that killed him.

I feel like Swiftpaw's death and Brightheart's injury would have all been avoided if Bluestar's mind was not in a shell of her former self because denying Swiftpaw,Brightheart and Thornclaw's making of warriors caused all of that to happen.Bluestar's denial had a butterfly effect i swear.

I wish swiftpaw could have lived- but have some consequences to it. this will just be my theory on if he had lived- ik it seems unnesesary but im doing it. It will be long so beware! Swiftpaw woke up to find himself inside of the medicine den, his body aching. he saw cobwebs and dockleaves on his wounds. he turned and saw brightpaw laying down next to him in another nest, seeing the torn off face she had. guilt stabbed into swiftpaws heart- Its my fault! he thought. If i hadnt bring up the idea of the dog fight, brightpaw would have never had to have her face torn off! Cinderpelt padded into the den, with fireheart next to her. They both looked suprised. "Swiftpaw, your alive!" Cinderpelt looked astonished. Swiftpaw looked at Cinderpelt for a second but looked away in guilt. Brightpaw woke up and looked around. "Swiftpaw?" She asked. Swiftpaw didnt answer. After all, it was his fault they both got into this mess. Bluestar padded into the den, looking furious at the two apprentices. "I already know its MY fault brightpaws face is torn off. It was all my fault. And its also your fault if you hadnt named mouse-brained cloudpaw a warrior. I trained way longer than him. But no." Fireheart sighed and put in: "Its not your fault. I know you wanted your warrior name. and i know its not fair that cloudpaw got named earlier even though he trained with a shorter ammount of time. But bluestar-" Anger rushed through swiftpaw and swiftpaw interupted: "OH WOW! Bluestar THIS and Bluestar THAT! you guys need to UNDERSTAND that she made many mistakes in life. and YES i heard about her kits getting killed by a stupid badger. But I know thats NOT true." (I had to put in that lol) Bluestar stormed out of the den and so did fireheart. (timeskip to a few days later where they both recovered a bit). "Cats of THUNDERCLAN!" Bluestar yowled.
