i remember in the 5th grade we had a project that was about reading books from a bunch of different genres and i got in trouble because i wouldn’t read anything except warrior cats. good times :’)

I remember starting Warrior Cats at middle school, the concept of cats seperated in clans that all believed in "starclan" (except the bloodclan) and all of the different clans had a different element like earth,water,wind etc. My first ever book was "The Rise Of Scourge" (and my first manga ever lol) I loved Scourge's arc so much and got so interested into his backstory, like the "misunderstood villain who wanted revenge". I'm glad he's one of the most popular villains in the fandom although I haven't touched my warrior cats books ever since 1st grade of high school 😭❗️

In middle school our writing teacher was explaining to us something about dialouge, and I had one of the warrior cats books sitting on my desk. She grabbed it and found some dialouge and read it to the class, and iirc it was brambleclaw growling at someone. It was so embarassing lol. As for a hot take, I've always enjoyed the traveling books. Imo its nice to take a break from the clans and have the cats go somewhere else for a bit.

In 2006 I was in 5th grade and I was so stoked on this idea of going on the old warrior cats website at the time and going through every one of my classmates names and punching them in the warrior cats name generator and then I wrote down all of their names based on the website and brought them to class the next day and read it to all of them in the front of the class. It was such a bright idea in my head! Some kids actually thought their names were pretty cool! I look back now and think OH god. Haha. I convinced so many kids to read the books.

I remember roleplaying warrior cats on the playground when I was younger and I got bullied for liking the books. I don't know how you had the bravery to do a presentation about it lmao 😭

Spoilers (after my life story): I read all of the warrior cat books in six months. From book one to Broken Code. I literally got into this series about a year ago no joke. I'm not even in the age range for the books. My little sister wouldn't shut up about them, so I read them. I hope the Starless Clan arc is used as a reset arc: kill off all the leaders, all the medicine cats, and possibly warriors that have been around for a long time. Just, give the arcs a clean slate to tell new stories without characters that have had their stories told move to Starclan so we can get new stories. I love Squilf and Jayfeather but they've been around for a while. And if nothing else, I hope they kill Bramblestar

Oh yeah, my childhood was filled to the brim with warrior cats. I'm eighteen now, so I've matured alongside my characters. My ten year old mind though.. Like... Phoenixwings or Phoenixstar. Yeah...um...I didn't have the books. The Wiki was my friend, yet for some reason I made the most random assumptions about the series. He was Firestar's long, lost son. He has wings and fire powers!!!! He saved..Squirrelkit from a rogue as a kit...😤🥺✨ He sacrificed himself and then was revived by StarClan 😱 He was bright ginger with golden stars littered over his pelt 🔥🔥😍😍 His future mate is Angelstream 🥺🥺❤️❤️ Mmm. Yeah. I was the stereotype of warrior cat ocs.

That was so fun! xD Thank you for showing us your presentations! I did a presentation in middle school about Warrior Cats as well. Even got a couple of friends to read a few of the books. Till today I am the only one, who finished the series. Or caught up to the 8th season. :) As long as the Erins write, I will read it. All these cats has become like friends over the last dacate, so ... I can´t quit my friends, can I? :)

I kept getting your videos recommended again and again. Finally caved into watching one and I’m so glad I did. For awhile I’ve been out of Warriors, I’ve just hated the newer series a lot and found the Warriors content creators to not be my thing really. However, I absolutely love the chill yet peppy vibe these videos bring. It’s not too much and the reviews and takes about the books/characters is interesting. Definitely can’t wait to see what else you have planned! :D

Hot Take: The first few books of TPB aren’t all that great. Like yeah they’re memorable and I have a lot of nostalgia for them, but I feel like the story and writing quality doesn’t really reach its peak until about Forest of Secrets and on. Still my favorite and most clearly planned of the arcs, but I think we do need to acknowledge that they aren’t warriors perfection or anything.

Hot take Warning: Spoilers for Tallstar's revenge P.s Amazing video dude! I first subbed to your channel when you only had a few videos and about 50 subscribers. I found your channel via a link on a list on tier maker. It's amazing how fast you've grown. Best wishes for the future! 😃 Despite all the hate she gets, Palebird is one of my favorite characters. I'm definitely not saying that she's a good mother, but I can understand why she does what she does. All other queens that have stillborn are sad sure, but Palebird's the only one who's long term depressed by it. She neglects Tallkit, only cleaning him when he's dirty, and calling him "dear" so much it feels like some 1800s depressed mother and eager child relationship. She barely even acknowledges the fact that he leaves the clan. But my favorite thing about her is that, unlike Crookedstar's promise it didn't just do the thing like it did with Rainflower. Literally with her it went like this "Oh but she was hurting mentally so all her actions were justified." Instead, although I'm pretty sure Palebird gives Tallstar a life, He doesn't instantly forgive her. In fact, we never see him forgive her. That's just another thing that makes Tallstar's revenge my favorite book ever.

Oh my, this unlocked memory from elementary school(3rd grade) when I tried to summarize a book that I didn't read to my teacher... It was a MESS. I feel so ashamed now... Btw, I'm kinda surprised to know that you are 3 months younger than me (if my calculations are correct). Because most of English fandom KZfaqrs seem to be near 30 years old. And I have very weird story with Warriors... I picked "Into the Wild" in school library in 1st grade(2009), read few chapters in the beginning and few chapters in the end, dropped it back and forgot about Warriors for 8 years. Then inbetween 8th and 9th grade, while I was in boring summer camp, I suddenly remembered that Warriors existed and started to read it. I read whole 1st arc in 3 days. I've been in fandom for 5 years now and I love this series.

The book will most likely be a retelling of events we already know (like Leopardstars honor). It definitely has some strange plots to tell, such as onestars mate being whitetail- it’s definitely going to be an interesting book!

I started warriors in 5th grade. Now I'm going to be a freshman by the end of the summer. And still reading. I am currently on a light in the mist. Almost caught up! And to think it took me 3 almost 4 years now to get to this point. I may have never made slide shows but I did book summaries in 6th grade. Last one I remember was outcast or maybe eclipse.

Berryheart, and I truly have enjoyed hearing your thoughts on her. Could you please do a video discussing her character, including her seemingly contradictory actions in books prior to ASC? Hi, this is my comment war. I think that Twigbranch is a very underrated character and needs more love because of her standing up to Finleap. Especially because it is a problem in real that women are forced into gender roles and having kids. She is my fav character because of that, but people don’t like her because she didn’t have kits. I think her not having kits is a big step for a warriors role. Anyway you don’t have to use that idea but hope you see it!

Hot take: *Spoilers* Apparently Ashfur was aiding the plot to kill Firestar in Sunset but I don't believe he was considering the only evidence is his fear scent leading to the scene leads me to believe he probably just stumbled across the sight of Hawkfrost tricking Firestar and ran away scared (Unless I missed something major lol)

(Spoilers for River/ASC) The first hot take that comes to mind is still my Iceflight as next RiverClan leader theory due to the wording around the feather visions. (If the first one wasn't a faked sign which also seems very likely)

Alright so I did / do hate squilf in the earlier books she appears in- her whole attitude was “I’m the leader’s daughter so if you don’t listen to me I’ll tell on you” I was reading those books around the changing of “ she’s annoying “ to “ she’s baby” so I can kinda get people liking her. But not me, even in the power of three arc, spoilers: she wasn’t a good mom, considering how she treated her future kids vs her first and the IDEA of having more, despite the feelings of her partner. Idk, my mom is like squilf in the power of three. Not caring about hollykits/paws feelings in general telling her to respect the borders, and then acting like 1000x more childish in future books and past books, (maybe I just trigger too easily with bad mothering 😅) (I think those are the saddest chapters bc she obviously has so much better a relationship with bramble than her ‘mom’) also what’s a reasonable way to react to someone trying to burn your kids alive? A: defend them B: Ok Idc ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ C: burn the attacker alive D: Cry and beg the attacker not to Any answer but B is probably acceptable. guess which she said. She was really hoping on a miracle with that one, or it was true. I respect your opinions though, I respect most people’s, I like to see the different thoughts in the warriors community in general.

I'm not much younger than you but I started reading warrior cats from the first arc on, though given that it only was translated into German from 2010 on there weren't as many books out/translated by that point that I could've started much later anyway

I started reading Warrior Cats in 3rd grade, and started on Power of Three as well. This one girl recommended it to me, and I didn’t know about the other books before it until fourth grade, which I binge-read for most of the year. I read them so much that my mom and my friends started telling me I should read something new. I’m also a fan of the other Erin Hunter series like the Bravelands and Seekers books. When I was like ten I made up these cheesy Warrior fanfics, most of which were pretty bad. I remember this one I made was called “Warriors the Magic Stone” and the plot was that RiverClan found this stone that had some sort of power. It was definitely cringe and not very well written. I’ve read all the books from Into the Wild to the current series. That’s pretty much my history with Warrior Cats. Also, I was wondering if you could review the Vision of Shadows arc, because I know there’s a lot of controversy in the fandom of whether those books were good or not.

My first warriors book was surprisingly Into the Wild, and I managed to read the whole first arc in order! I skipped half the books in the second arc though (I got them from the public library and people really loved to steal these books). The Sight was stolen and I got bored of the second book in the third arc, but I made (make?) so. many. OCs. and spoiled the entire series for myself I did recently reread the first two arcs and The Sight was too boring for me (I read the first two chapters). I listened to a podcast about Bluestars Prophecy, read Crookedstars Promise, and are in the process of reading Tallstars Revenge. Next will probably be Hawkwings Journey even though I'll be very confused. I may try to read the third arc but I do not want to spend all my money on these books.

Wait...you're not supposed to start from the beginning?? I remember 6th grade is when I first started reading it. I was already bullied so it didn't really matter, it wouldn't make a difference. But, the funny thing is I started reading warriors before I knew what it was. I had heard of some "cringy" book series called "warrior cats." I was a weird child and wanted to hate on things that were popular and cringy and insisted I would avoid it at all costs, but one day I found Fire and Ice in my classroom, and got really interested. My teacher told me that was the second book, so, I got Into the Wild, and started reading it. I didn't think it was the infamous "Warrior Cats," because the title was "Warriors." I'd soon become obsessed, and at that point it didn't matter when I realized. I've never stopped reading since, and I'm currently 19.

Slight hot take I don’t thing twigbranches mate was that bad While I don’t this he’s amazing. But compared to some of the other bate mates he’s not the bad. I don’t like the fact Dovewing joined shadowclan. She had no chance of reconciling with ivypool or anything

Hot Take: Sasha was a terrible mother and is directly responsible for Tadpole dying. I see so much sympathy for her. She chose to go into the forest to deliver her kits despite knowing Tigerstar is there and was no good. She didn’t leave once knowing there were dogs, other clan cats nearby, nothing. Sasha had her friend to go to and a man feeding her at the boat. She chose to go where she couldn’t provide *herself* food adequately. What about the kits? She left the kittens alone for long periods of time alone to hunt since she struggled so much. After Tadpole died, the kits were ditched at Riverclan and told their evil dad wasn’t bad after all. Overall: Sasha made too many poor decisions with flimsy reasoning based off emotion alone that led to it negatively affecting her kits.

Here's a hot take... the community takes these books too seriously. These are silly cat books that are just supposed to be for fun, not overly analyzed with serious subject matter. Warriors was never supposed to become this huge, long running series, it was intended for children to read about "cats in the woods". Just look at the online Fandom, sure there's some kids here, but it's a lot of older teenagers and young adults, aka people who can cherry pick every little issue there is, the fanbase is great, but overreacts to everything. Iam thrilled these books have been so successful, because they helped inspire an amazing online community, and have given me a lot of enjoyment over the years, and if people stop expecting Shakespeare out of this series, they'll find things way more enjoyable, just enjoy the characters, the storytelling, and of course the Warriors universe itself, it's a lot of fun compared to constantly complaining.

Hot take incoming!! _Spoilers I guess?_ I really hate how repetitive this series is. I know this is a really popular opinion and it’s not at all that original, but I really don’t like it. I like the newest book river, and I found it to be fairly good! However in reality I really hated frostpaw. Just, how many times have we had tropes EXACTLY like hers? Flamepaw’s story just doesn’t make sense; why is he compared to Firestar but his sister isn’t all that much? Sunbeam is... eh. She’s alright, but I kinda relate to her? Idk. Just, everything above the omen of the stars was really REALLY bad. I haven’t read anything past omen of the stars except river. They have gotten really really bad. I know that a series can only go on for so long, and warriors is no exception, but please PLEASE just end it! After river, I hope the clans combine or just split, flamepaw/nightheart/nightstar becomes leader, sunbeam the deputy, and frostpaw becomes a loner or something. I hope that’s how it ends.
