“Crows their all liars” according to old Nan ..... the knight King was being controlled by the three eyed raven hence why he went into the cave to kill him he doesn’t want to be his puppet anymore and now that Bran is the three eyed raven the knight king will hunt him down and kill him.

But isn't Bran kinda dead already? The transition into being the 3-eyed Raven seems to have subdued/erased his original personality to some extent, right?

Liked the important details from Jojen. Jaime shakes Jon's hand and pulls it toward him with a firm grip. Jaime loses a hand and given a gold hand by Qyburn with engravings. Tinfoil I wonder if Qyburn did anything magical to the hand. In the heroes cave the drawing has a person that seems to have a special hand. The end of season 7 ends with the hand of Jaime and snow melting on his gold hand. Jaime is a focus in Bran's visions.

Jojen could be talking about something else Mira referred to later. Remember in season 7 when Mira was going to go back home and she called out Bran, he said not really. I remember what it was like to be him. She also stated "You died in that cave" since now Bran lives as the raven. I think that is what Jojen was referring to.

Jojen’s burning hand makes more sense as a representation of The Firey Hand than just a burning hand. There is something I wanted to add for thought that’s unrelated to the content of this video to see what you think. In the Azor Ahai reborn prophecy it only states that a warrior will draw a sword from the fire and this sword shall be Lightbringer. That said all of this speculation about Lightbringer being reformed is simply that. It doesn’t need to be reformed so there is no need for Dany or Mel to be sacrificed. Only that the sword will be in a fire. Secondly I found it coincidentally related that Nissa Nissa , specifically Nissa sounds very much like Mhysa (mother) that the slaves of Astapor chant. We know how words can be altered over time. Perhaps Nissa Nissa was never Nissa at all perhaps it was a chant of Mhysa, Mhysa. I’ve never heard this brought up before. Do you have a theory?

Jojen basically told Bran that he would die just not yet but that he would know when the end came. Very cryptic yet pretty clear that Bran would definitely die. I have been leaving this in everyone’s comments for quite a long while now glad you finally saw this for yourself and basically said the same thing.

Before this video I always thought Jojen was referring to his own death. But after watching this video, I think what you're saying might be true. The fact that how brilliant of a writer GRRM is, just blows me away. A frigging wordsmith of this century!!

I like this. Tin Foil Alert: Since we know that George was a huge Tolkien fan, what if Bran is Frodo and Jon is Aragon. Like Aragon, Jon will be the distraction with the night king that we see on the TV show and will keep us all distracted while Frodo/Bran destroys the original Night King that is back in the lands of always winter. Using the Beric theory, if we kill the original night king we will destroy them all. I know it's a bit out there, but I believe they showed us the night king with a beard in the caves of Dragonstone for a reason. I did warn you that this was some tin foil. :)

Another great video, I agree, Jojen was talking about Bran, he did say, "not yet" when speaking to Bran. What I don't like is how in every story I've ever read yor watched those who can see the future never just spit it out, the're always vague. It would have been helpful if Jojen just spoke up, they did have plenty of time on their walk, Jesus. If I was Bran, I would have worged into Hordor and beat the hell out of Jojen until he told me everything he knew. Sort of ruines the end, but hey I wouldn't have to wait till 2019 to find out. lol

Unfortunately, Jojen Reed... became sicker and sicker because of the Green sight the 3 eyed Raven sent to him... the Reed's don't have the magical blood like Bran Stark has to be a Green Seer...Jojen's burning hand could have had something to do with the Keep going up in flames later that evening! and It could have something to do with the end game...

I do like the burning hand indicating the "Fiery Hand" playing a big role in the end game!

We know John was burned by the lantern when saving Mormont from the Whyte, and that's fine. But, what changes were made to him after dying and being brought back? Is he now immune to fire? I wonder how that affected his physiology? Are his "swimmers" different now? We don't know enough about the biology/physiology of the people brought back from the dead by Rholor. Just a thought.

Pretty sure this was all about Jojen having foreseen his own end. The burning hand was symbolism of the burning of his body when they'd finally reached The Three Eyed Raven. I don't think it had anything to do with Bran's death.

I think he was just saying that this isn't how Bran would die. We all know that everyone dies, so Bran will die eventually, just not at that moment. I don't think Jojen knew anything else, and if he did, there's not enough time for it in the last season. Sometimes what you see is what you get and there's nothing else. Jojen's purpose was to put Bran on the right path and that's all.

I think Jojen was trying to tell Bran that he isn't dead until he becomes the Three-Eyed Raven.

I think the brilliance of GRRM’s writing is that he can take characters like Jojen and the Three-eyed Raven, and make you doubt their motives, even though they are individuals who probably sacrificed the most in an effort to win the Great War. For example, as Brynden Rivers, Three-eyed Raven has a history of using his martial, magical and intellectual talents to support the Targaryen line, and doing what is best for the Realm. Rivers also had Targaryen and First men blood (a Blackwood). I think his motives and Jojen’s motives are to show Bran, Sam and important the people who matter that Jon has an important role to play for humans to win the Great War. They know that role and they know how the story ends, but they do not want to disturb history by telling the players how their story ends.

Taking thrones is the reason I'm getting more excited for GoT as the time gets NG forward. This guy is awesome. Wanna see ur face once though. 😄😄😂

I always love your videos. Never caught this before! But that scene where Jojen dies has always bugged me. Wights were never skeletons and after this scene I don’t recall them every being shown as such since. Then there was the fact that Jojen started to turn into a Wight with no White Walker in sight. Which is fine, they have a far reach, but this entire scene gives the wrong impression.

One thing that came to me before the video ended. Jojen's hand was on fire including his fingers. In the book ADWD Tyrion is traveling with a red priest named Moqorro and his "Firery Fingers" on the ship. Maybe it is a total coincidence but I couldn't help noticing the two parallels. Perhaps this is a foreshadowing for the book readers for something with Rhollor/Azori Ahai.. keep the videos coming TT!

Next time was in last season. When Bran hands Arya the valerian dagger he hesitates and it almost seems like he pulls the dagger towards his chest... just my tin foil

It's interesting to me that we call them "Green" seers and their dreams are "Green" dreams. It seems like a statement about the powerful life-force in Nature and trees is being emphasized.

My favorite GOT end game theory is that Jojen's fiery hand is symobolically referencing Jaime Lannister's golden hand catching on fire when he uses it to kill Cersei. Azor Ahai had to kill the woman he loved most to bring fire to LightBringer, and the prophecy is that Azor Ahai will rise again. I believe it to be Jaime Lannister's golden hand bursting to flames after killing his sister......or maybe Brienne of Tarth?!

The 3ER didn't seem interested in Jon at all. He didn't show Bran Jon's birth (Bran was nosey and went to see that on his own), instead he showed him the fight between Arthur Dayne/Ned and pulled Bran away after Lyanna's screams, probably because he didn't want to distract him from the actual goal. Jon also doesn't feature in Bran's visions which I think are trying to show Bran the endgame. I didn't pick up on Jojen saying 'not yet' about the end for Bran so that's really interesting. I definitely think his burning hand is about the endgame and not his own death, it would be great foreshadowing on a rewatch once the series has finished.

My take on it is that Bran will know the end because he will have seen his own/the end, just as Jojen has seen is own end (his own flaming hand illustrating that his visions and knowledge of his own demise is nearly always with him). Thanks for your vids!

I am so glad you made this video. I assumed that when Jojen looked at his hand burning that that was about The Fiery Hand of R'hllor coming. And I hope that Melissandre is Nissa Nissa. I think that would make her so happy. I would love your thoughts on Arya's dagger. Specifically on Bran's reaction immediately after he handed it to her. He appeared to hesitate and reflect just after and it makes me wonder if that dagger isn't intended for him after all. I would love to know your thoughts on that split second reaction by Bran. Knowing the end is going to be bittersweet makes me feel like Bran won't make it. Someone, anyone! Please send me the books. I'm dying of unfulfilled obsession!

There's even more in that episode that gives clues to the end, than just Jojen's hand moment. On rewatch (being caught up to the end of season 7) there's defo more to this episode than meets the eye.

One character who I have missed in the show is Howlin Reed. I can't help but feel that his abscence (and hopeful appearance in season 8) is very important.

Jojen meant a general "you", he wasn't speaking specifically to Bran when he said "you'll know". I also think Jojen's burning hand is symbolizing the place(they're currently in) being burned down. Could maybe even symbolize it all burning down in the end anyways. George did say the ending would be bitter sweet, so maybe a lot of people will die and the entire place will be in ruins; but some will live to tell the story. Also, Bran is one of the sacred 5 George has said won't die. Edit: When Jojen said "not yet", he could've also meant he doesn't know when they die; but that they don't die there. When Jojen told Bran that he saw the rebellion, Bran asked him what else he saw and Jojen replied with "the only thing that matters, you!" Conclusion, in both the show and the books, there's no proof of Jojen being able to see much past his own death; except for Bran's importance. I think the only thing Jojen could see was the future up until they get to the tree and he dies, which is why all he says is that Bran HAS to make it...to the tree. That was Jojen's job. I don't think he would see so far ahead all the way up to Bran's death. In the books, it is highly suggested Jojen was fed to Bran.
