I have a gas pressure washer that is over 20 years old that puts out over 3.0 GPM and about 3000 PSI that is still running and you can buy today for about $500.00 to $600.00. I also have an electric pressure washer from Green Canpump at 2.0 GPM and 1500 PSI for $650.00. Active is selling this second iteration of junk ( bought the VE Series returned same day do to surging issues) that will only last 200 Hours for just under $500.00!! People give your head a shake and stop paying for crap and allowing these companies to get rich making garbage.

Love to see the progression of your setup! Congrats again bro! Washing in your own garage is ideal. I definitely have a few products to recommend as you continue to build your detailing supplies (Lambskin wheel mit from OG for wheels, detail factory brushes for exterior (crevices) and interior, and hose guides for the tires to name a few). My Karcher 1700 has been going strong but when that one bites the dust the active 2.0 is on my list

I’m about to buy a lot of this so thanks for the video man. Two questions though. Why do you have the two different detail brushes? That necessary you think? Also did you just buy that hose vs the one that came with it because of its length?

No problem! Each detail brush helps get to certain portions of the wheel and brakes. I bought that hose to get extra reach when I wash the car in the driveway. Hope that helps

Hey man, how do you wash your wash mitt? Also, check out opti hyper seal as a drying aid. I don’t notice streaks like I did with so other product (like CG ceramic detail spray). It’s a little pricey but works incredibly and a little product goes a long way.

I actually end up using a Microfiber detergent and wash my Microfiber towels and mits at home with the traditional washer/dryer. I've actually tried Gyeon's Ceramic Detailer and so far it's been pretty good.

@@TheDailyDriven I just got it yesterday posted on my Instagram and that thing is amazing I totally checked my Ryobi out the window got it all set up even modified a hose reel and converted it into a retractable pressure washer wheel. I opted for 3.5 4.5 and 5.0 nozzles and it handles them like a champ and I did get the mjjc foam Cannon which in my opinion is one of the best foam cannons on the market

good video man. One recomendation is to try and stop being concerned with having or using "the best" . You can dam near pretty much obtain the same results as long as you aren't products that aren't plain trash. Even with pw and people thinking they need to have 2.0gpm which is ridiculous. The difference between say 1.4 and 1.9 gpm is minimal. Anyone who says otherwise is just doing so to justify spending $1k on theirs. Lastly, I would try to stay under 75ft for hose as going 100ft is not recommended. Even Kranzle says to stay under 75ft.

Looks like they are sold out until this spring. They actually are having a special promotion on their ve52 pressure washer wish they just sent out for me to test out. And so far it's pretty legitimate also. Actually in the beginning I was but after a year I've had no issues. You just need to keep practice safe distance while rinsing the car off. If installed right there shouldn't be any issues

Unfortunately, the 826m wheels are very prone to getting Micro scratches. The black gloss paint makes it very vulnerable. So I guess you can say yes.

I can't recall but now aways I just use the green tip. It's good for most rinses and safe enough when washing the car.

What blue hose is that? Uberflex or kobrajet? My active 2.0 keeps running after trigger is released. Rep at active told me uberflex hose is not recommended.... i even switch to the stock hose that came with it and it works fine. Did I get a defective unit?? ANY ADVICE ?

It's most likely the hose. I have the uberflex and I'm thinking about switching. Main reason is that it's too thin. It does kink sometimes too. I haven't had your issues. But I am think about going with an Obsessed Garage hose which is 3/4" instead of the uberflex being 1/4". It'll probably give you a better free flow into the machine

You shouldn't dry the water with a towel. Get yourself a spotless water system. Then use a blower to blow the water off the car. Having those same wheels on my G82 I definitely feel your pain having to clean them and trying to keep them clean. I had mine ceramic coated and that definitely helps with cleaning them as even the greasy road grime comes right off with a pressure washer now.

I normally would use a blower but when I use a Drying aid like bead maker. I like to use it when the car is wet. Unfortunately bead maker sometimes leaves streaks.

That outlet in the back...maybe want to consider putting a cover on it if you're going to continue washing it in the car. Definitely don't want to get water in it! Hopefully it's a GFI, but for sure take those preventative measures.

Totally agree. I can always park a lot closer to the middle or right of the garage where there's no outlets. But for the video I needed a wide enough shot.

My suggestion, you want to leave much as soap as possible on a car before you completely rinse the car off, if not it leaves more dirt and marks then before. it’s like getting rained on a car with out soap, happens to me all the time.

Active 2.0 is the same company that made the cat this machine is supposed to be twice as good. I washed my vehicle with the CAT Version 27 times and it SEIZED UP GARBAGE So the 2.0 active version should give me about 60 washes that’s ridiculous. Don’t waste your money. These under $500 washers are junk.
