Watch again as new MPs are sworn into the House of Commons on Tuesday 9 July, following the general election.
There will be 411 MPs representing Labour thanks to their landslide win, while the Conservatives form the opposition with 121 seats.
The Liberal Democrats take 72 seats in the Commons, with the SNP on nine, Reform UK on five and the Green Party on four.
Once sworn in, Labour’s Diane Abbott will earn the symbolic title Mother of the House.
The moniker is given to the female MP with the longest continuous service.
Ms Abbott, 70, was first elected in June 1987 - becoming the first black woman elected to the House of Commons.
Some believed that her ally, Jeremy Corbyn, would become Father of the House.
But Sir Edward Leigh, 73, Conservative MP for Gainsborough, pipped him to the title, as he was sworn in moments before Mr Corbyn after the June 1983 election.
Elsewhere, the youngest MP is believed to be Sam Carling, 22, the new Labour MP for North West Cambridgeshire.
He narrowly won the seat, with Conservative candidate Shailesh Vara just 39 votes behind.

@@quintuscrinis8032 That’s a fair point looking at it from an individual perspective, but the problem most people overlook when thinking about institutions is the hegemonic and pedagogical function of all institutions meaning: it’s not about what they think, it’s what the institution allows; they’re employees after all. Over the last 4 years, Parliament has demonstrated an absolute inability to hold people who have clearly breached their own rules much less ministerial rules, to account; parliament corruption has never been so rife and so blatant and that’s before we get into partygate, PPE, VIP lanes, corporate infiltration and bribery. The voting system needs a complete overhaul preferably to Single Transferable Vote and whilst it is the case that we elect parties, how is it right that people we didn’t and wouldn’t vote for in a month of Sundays are able to occupy the highest positions in public office, namely PM?? It’s absurd and we need to remember we don’t work for this lot, it’s the other way around!! We can talk about the WEF and Starmer’s self-proclaimed love for unelected globalists. Blair, his war-criminal handler is the infection that just won’t go away.
