I returned LG dishwashers as after power outage/interruption, the dishwasher did not resume from exactly last stage. Except this problem, LG is world class dishwasher. After studying Beko, which is a major Turkish brand and is vastly sold in Europe and Arabic nation, I bought Voltas Beko DF14S2 model which is now being sold for 40000/- Another 14 place Beko dishwasher is being sold for 28000/-, which is also very good but lacks the edge of DF14S2 model. DF14S2 is a superior model. It has many unique features like - (1) It has 12 years warranty on motor. (2) Inverter motor is very energy efficient and has longer life. (3) Dishwasher is sound less. (4) it's all the cycles consume less than 1 unit of electricity. (5) average power consumption is 4.50/- per cycle.(6) it has a third lower impeller (spray arm) below the lower tray, which sprays hot water at 5 times the power of normal spray arm, to remove sturdy stains. (6) It has 38 wash cycles. (7) It resumes cycle, from last stage, after power outage. (7) Voltas after sales service is top class, you just have to dial to the helpline for any assistance. There is no other dishwasher, which can match Voltas Beko. (8) you van also go for Voltas Beko 15 place dishwasher which has extra Cutlery tray, WIFI connectivity and touch panel. Frankly, I preferred a dishwasher without cutlery tray as it eats space of upper tray.

Voltas has a reputation of launching many products which slowly faded away after poor market response. Voltas has dropped the price of 14 place dishwasher to 42000/- and price of 15 place dishwasher to 47000/- but the product performance, after sales service ande the commitment of the Company will decide about the future of Beko products.

Agreed - although the 8 place setting one is fairly competitive. Faber has also introduced the 8 place setting - have to evaluate how good that is

I have recently purchased the voltas DF14S2 model, when the demo guy came for installation the machine showed E02 error, he asked me to connect the water pump installed as it requires water pressure. The error still persists even after installing the water pump of 140 watt. Was hoping if you could guide me in this regard.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback, I have to check my SEO to see why it did not pop up. Regarding the air drying - in 95% of cases air drying is sufficient. Steam drying helps mostly for plastics - which don't get dry completely with air drying (I would say about 90% dry) Secondly 940W vs 1800W - thats the power consumption. LG consumes higher as it has steam drying. Does not affect performance of the dishwasher in my opinion.

I am using Voltas DF14S2. Despite VOLTAS and LG, both having inverter motors, Voltas consumes lesser power as compared to LG. Air drying of Voltas is perfect, provided steam is allowed to escape after the cycle and Dishwasher is again closed for 15-20 minutes. Voltas has extra steam option for extra drying.

Hi Suman! So far I haven’t had to use the after sales. But I did call them up a few times to get feedback on few things and they were always prompt. Faber has a franchise service network that makes money from servicing. So in general they are good - I’ve used them for chimneys in the past

Yes you can place it on the floor. The depth is sufficient for a kitchen counter top too.

Hi Tissy, no need to change detergent to tablet mode. After a while it will open and use up the tablet.

Hi Anis, VOLTAS DF14W is quite a popular model as it gives a full sized dishwasher at the price of a table top. Yes it's a bit basic with no digital panel, but that's the only drawback. Many voltas products are unavailable on e-comm sites. They are maybe preferring to sell those using TATACLIQ only due to it being their own brand.

Agree on the knobs - but frankly if you ask me - those are probably more durable than the digital/ LED displays - assuming nothing else gives way. True about jacking up the prices! I ordered mine the day lockdown opened up (6am 😁) and soon after it went out stock and prices increased. Luckily I got mine not at a jacked up price.

Hi Rajesh - it was primarily around returns when product issues like consuming excess salt was found out. Some of my older videos have some of those comments from viewers.

Hi Neha, for first time running - when our technician put salt - it took almost upto a kg. But after that, about once a month not more than 100 gms (till the salt container is full - assuming 1 cycle per day in auto mode. Regarding salt consumption- it also depends on the hardness level you have set and how much water hardness your machine supports. I recommend you watch this video to determine if you need an external water softener. Your voltas manual should show you upto what hardness level your machine supports.

Also electricity consumption for each cycle type is in your manual. Eco takes about 0.9kwh and intensive takes about 1.5kwh.

I wonder if your tap water is so hard. You must have got the water hardness strip, which comes with every Voltas Dishwasher. Get the water tested with this strip. Dip the test strip in water for a second and take out. The changed colour on the strip would tell you the actual level of hardness. If you need, you can call the Voltas technician again to do the test. They would do it for free. Aqua Flex cycle is most versatile. You can try it. All of the cycles consume less than 1 unit of electricity.

Hi Neha I have also purchased df14s2 from Reliance Digital at 35k. I think we have ordered this on same time. I also received damaged piece from Reliance Digital in which rinse aid container was leak. After that problem I replaced it by Reliance Digital. And from google I came to know that Reliance Digital sold mostly damaged items. May be in your case your dishwasher might be falty. But don't think to replace from Reliance Digital they are total fraud. 1 months and 10 days I have to waste my days just for fight to replacement. Dont trust on resq people they are doing their job most worsted. Just call voltas toll free no and they will definitely help you.

Hi! Bosch is a good brand and been in the Dishwasher space for a long time - so it is definitely a safe bet. However, their tech is older than the newer dishwashers that are coming in the market now. I have not looked at Lloyd yet.

@@gags-d-gr8 new dishwashers like LG and Voltas have inverter motor, which are game changer for the reason that they consume less power, are almost soundless and being , brushlesss, have longer life. Old dishwashers have plastic tub, which is not as efficient in drying as the stainless steel tub happens to be. Modern dishwashers like Faber, LG and Voltas have stainless-steel tub. Bosch is unnecessarily selling their 12 place Dishwasher at around 45000/- whereas Faber, Voltas, which are better and are 14 place Dishwashers, are much cheaper.

Sorry for the late answer. Yes, Voltas Beko is an outstanding dishwasher and is ubetter than Bosch. As a 14 place dishwasher can wash entire day's utensils in one go, buying Voltas is a bettor option. If you have seen my other posts, you will know that Beko has several useful features.

As I spoke to LG representative, they told LG will restart the cycle if the power cut is during the wash cycle ,if it's finished the wash cycle and rinse or drying is in process then it won't restart from the beginning. No idea it's true or not ! Can't buy a machine to test it 😁😁😁

@@smohapatra1560 no need to buy it. I used LG for 15 months. As after power outage, the cycle doesn't start exactly from the last stage, I returned it. LG despite being a Very good dishwasher, proved to be a problem. Now I have bought Voltas Beko.

Hi Rajesh! If budget is not a concern, I won’t recommend the Midea to you. Bosch is a trusted brand in the dishwasher space, so cannot go wrong with that. Voltas is an up and coming brand with some newer tech and if you are looking for bigger size (14-15 place settings) - you can go for the Voltas 14S2 (amzn.to/3txgX7g ) or 15A versions

Hi Rajesh, you can - but loading and unloading may be difficult - esp if there are 3 racks. It does not vibrate too much - so should not be an issue.

Hi Rimple - try to adjust your rinse aid setting (make it higher). Also try an extra dry option. Normally steel and glass should dry well and plastics will have some water or moisture left.

Yes as you said it was a rinse aid related issue...I called technician twice and it's shocking that he couldn't resolve such a small issue ...Tata should hire some really trained professionals ... Instead he said that it is like this only in all Tata dishwashers .... Hi Rimple - no issues if you are using a tablet. Otherwise it may impact washing quality as well - as some of the elements like phosphates were removed from detergents which the rinse aid compensates for.
