Maybe 30 months max but not 30 years, im not anti freedom. But cocaine does hurt people, we are not talking about alcohol. So law enforcement needs to do lots of explaining from destroying Wershe and his family's lives, then Wershe should also get a full pardon and a 32 year,7 months full retirement from FBI, Michigan law enforcement etc...the minimum. I just quit voting way long time ago, cause I lost trust in both political parties.Specially for governors like we have in Michigan. But if Wershe runs to be our governor, or senator etc... in Michigan, do not care what party he is in, he would have my vote immediately.

I understand. What I don’t understand is why an alternate location wasn’t chosen.

What a strong man....just watched the film...unbelievable! It was disgusting how he was treated! He should sue the state ( or someone🤔). He is soo right in everything he is saying! There are innocent people in jail right now. The laws he’s talking about are spot on! So brilliant how he is out there telling his story and now helping a cause. ( reform) Good people are getting wrong sentences and bad people are getting off lightly. It’s so wrong. Good for him writing his book and doing a documentary. I hope he makes loads of money from it too. He deserves a good life after what he’s had to do!. Wish I could help somehow?🤔🇬🇧✌️🙏🏻

Fascinating story indeed, I watched the film and couldn't believe the American system works this way.

He was a kid when he got locked up for stupid reasons. Yet the law proceeded to take basically his whole adult life away from him. Keep in mind he killed no one. Messed up world we live in.

I think it's fantastic he filed the lawsuit the day before the one year statue of limitations expired. I think it's great cause you know there was someone/a group of people counting down the days he had to file. They f#@ked him and now he's coming for his justice. Rick is an amazing person
