Thank you for sharing your process. So many candle makers do not share their "secrets," such as wick sizes they use. As you said, we're all learning together and I appreciate the fact that you're so compassionate about candlemaking and willing to share your knowledge. ❤

i just recently bought this after failed attempts using 464. I had no HT. I;m not giving up on it though, going to let them cure for a full 2 weeks and see how that goes. I hate that it is so temperamental. Doing my test batch today... wish me luck! Hope you are having fun on your vacation.

You’re so much fun to watch! Thank you for all you do!!! I was curious if you would be interested in trying a wax blend of 32% TW-30 & 68% 464, in a candle? Curious on how the hot throw is! I’ve heard adding a little of this tart wax to your container wax helps with hot throw & for a better/longer burn time due to the fact that it’s a harder wax.

Love this you did great I use 6006 too. Have you ever tried adding vybar260 to ur soy wax? When I use soy I add 1teaspoon of vybar 260 to each pound of wax it helps with your look of the candle and cold and hot throw. It's a life saver for soy wax. Congrats on ur clam shells and candle they looked great.

@@CandleRomance I understand what you mean. I have been experimenting with candle making on and off for the last two years and now I am doing it full- time. You do have to test alot, but the more familiar you get with the products you are using, the better your outcome will be and less non- sellable candles you will have. The time flies when making candles, huh?!.. I love to see how my candles turn out once they are cooled. It's such a creation. 😁 Take care 🍀

I absolutely LOVE your videos, which is why I subscribed to your channel. I noticed you measured water in order to get your ounces for wax...However, you should pour the water into your vessel to the level you desire, while weighing, then multiply the amount of water by .86, and that will be the total amount of wax you will need (minus f/o) for that vessel. Just an F.Y.I.

Hi Michael, Thanks for all the videos! I am really enjoying them. I'm struggling getting a good HT with the IGI 6006 even though I love the finish of the candle. Maybe I need to let it cure longer? It's suppose to be a great wax for HT...any thought s???

@@CandleRomance Hi Michael, Did you mean Vybar 260? I only see 260 and 103 on Nature's Garden and according to their sight the 103 is for pillars
@CandleRomance
@CandleRomance 3 жыл бұрын
@@artistdee2226 You can use either on container candles too, it all depends on the wax you're using 6006 melt point is 133F so you'll have to use Vybar 103, it's for use for waxes with melting points above 130F. Vybar 260 is for use with waxes that have melting points below 130F such as Soy Wax.

It all depends on the diameter of the jar, I usually double wick if it's 3.75 inches in diameter or more, and I use CDN or LCS wick series on Soy Bliss wax.

@@ethelhadnot1790 I'm working on a video using vybar 260 (it's an additive for the wax to make the ht stronger) I did tried it on my "Sexy Scented Candle" video and the HT was so strong that it gave me a headache and made my eyes itchy so I had to put out the candle after 4 hours. So the product works! I'm running a test using much smaller amount of the vybar 260 and I plan to upload it either tonight or tomorrow morning. I won't be able to test the ht on the video because I have to cure the candles for a week. So I will do a follow up.
