About: In this video, I talk about how much it costs to live on your own in an apartment in Tennessee (costs may vary by location). I show you my monthly living expenses and I also talk about helpful tips when cooking for one so you don't have a lot of food waste. Staying on budget is important, so I want to help you think of all the potential living expenses when living on your own in your first apartment. There may also be some emotional struggles with living by yourself like loneliness, which I will also cover, especially for those who are moving out of state on their own like I did.

I actually was in a lot of pain. It was like a band of pain through my middle and back. I have an appointment with the doctor but not soon. I thought I was passing away. LOL. I'm much better now. I love life ❤️. I love life even when it sucks. I paid all my bills so I'm grateful that's over. Sending hugs 🤗 Amy

Nice video detailing your expenses, however If you’re struggling to make it, you could cut out your tithing and your music or Amazon prime. You said you tithe 10% of your income. if you’re tithing $650 a month of your salary for it , wouldn’t that mean that your income is $6500 month? You stated your expenses are $3800+. Seems like you would have quite a bit left over to live solo.

Hi Steve, thank you for this comment 😊. I really appreciate it! Tithing is something I am very set on doing and is important to me and my faith. I try to go over my tithe when I can. Right now I tithe over 10%. I really believe in giving back, because what I have is only mine because God gave it to me. So I give back to be a faithful giver. I know not everyone agrees with this but that is how I feel 🥰 Definitely someone who does not tithe would be able to have a lot of money left over. I completely agree! Also, good call on cutting out Apple Music. I had it as a free trial at first then Apple swooped me in to their subscription lol. If I really could not pay my bills then Apple Music and Amazon prime channel subscription would for sure be the first things to go. I am on a budget which allows me to make sure all my bills are paid with a little left over for savings 🥰

You said the year and half you’ve been living in your apartment??? I thought you just moved in like 2 months ago?? I’m so confused.🤔
@jesslookingup

Hi! Great question and I totally get how that can be confusing. In my apartment transformation video I explained that when I first moved to Tennessee I didn’t have the means or capacity to edit my videos the way I wanted (editing software etc) and so I still recorded my journey in the hopes that one day I would be able to save up and get a new computer with editing software so I could edit everything I recorded and share it. So my first several videos were all from that journey. I didn’t record everyday during that time so now I am caught up from the old footage and the videos you are currently seeing are from this year. My last vlog I just posted today is from not even a month ago when it was recorded. 😊❤️
