I'm a huge comedy nerd who is a huge fan of both British and American comedy(I'm actually Australian). Trump is universally objectively very funny. Way funnier than the current comedy on American tv making fun of him, which I believe is a huge problem and the reason he is so popular. Comedy wins in the persuasion of public opinion.

He’s floated a third term many times since his second was “stolen”, and with his love and admiration for other leaders who’ve figured out how to remain in power for decades, he’ll learn how they did it. I don’t see him quietly leaving because the constitution limits two terms.

Given what Trump plans to do politically, I have never found his antics to be funny. I don't think other people couldn't find him funny but you'd have to be generally unaware of what he represents politically imo. I can only speak for myself but the political stuff he has said, done and represents and all the shameless idiocy he embodies always come to mind whenever he's on-screen and suddenly any semblance of fun is immediately gone. Ana, given what you PRETEND to care about politically, the audience of supposed left-wingers and progressives finds it really strange how you try to emulate Jimmy Fallon by normalising that far-right creep. He could only ever be funny when you think that what he says and does won't impact you and maybe Ana Kasparian is under the impression that she'll be able to get through 4 more years of Trump whilst downplaying what Republicans do and maybe she thinks she can botheside all political issues forever and ever so she can keep her reactionary right-wing friends like Ben Shapiro...but the audience can see what's happening.

She also expressed affection for George Santos after he got booted out and went on Cameo, forgetting that he robbed a man of the money he needed to help his cancer-ridden dog (something that seemed to hit her emotionally at the time). It's gross how easily entertained she is by repugnant people as long as she can just ignore the terrible stuff. It's this sort of self-induced insistence of "fairness" that I'm getting sick of from these two. They constantly feel like they have to sprinkle any criticism with something they like.
