Not on the F15 unfortunately. You could possibly pull the bolts on top under the hood to get you more access to see if a hose came undone, but for full access, you'll need to pull the fender unfortunately. The biggest pain is the hardware connecting to the bumper, and of course the plastic rivets on the wheel-well, which are pretty much single use.

Truth to that. While you can go in and code the timeout to infinite if you want, it's not something everyone has access to, and really, the bottle of coffee pot cleaner in the tank should solve the issue!

Yeah, not the best outcome. Still waiting to drain my current washer fluid and try the Prestone. Not sure I care 'that much' to pull the fender completely off to replace the whole tank.

Really? Haven't thought of that. What mix did you make, and did it have any negative effect on the paint (I assume you washed it right away anyways)

@@DachsAutos I mixed it 50/50with water. No negative effect on the paint, cleared the light pretty fast. Then I just filled the tank back up with a non water repelant washer fluid.

@@elov188 Thanks! I will give this a try. How long did you let it simmer in the tank before you emptied and re-filled with the proper stuff. I've got a bottle of the suggested prestone stuff, I just use my wipers so rarely I never empty my reservoir.

@@DachsAutos It only took a half hour or so. Put it in the tank before my wife left for work and on the way there she said the light went off. When she got home just filled the rest of the tank with regular washer fluid

In my case, the sensor is built into the tank, so I'd have to replace the whole tank. Fortunately, the bottle of coffee pot cleaner resolved the issue!
