In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Watcher. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/casey-c/mapmarks

Your Watcher decks are so creative. Like many other streamers, I mainly end up with Rushdown infinite with this character over and over again. Wish to be as good as you one day.

One of my favorite odd builds I’ve had with watcher was a wrathless scry deck. Runic pyramid and weave were the winners but big showcase of calm and empty body for block and energy. Never respected empty body before that.

Watcher really seems swingy. Sometimes the deck comes together and she turns into a meatgrinder, but other times, the perfect hand jusr refuses to come together and I end up stuck in wrath for two turns with no high-damage attacks

In my experience you really have to play and build watcher decks in a way to specifically try to avoid those scenarios. Sometimes they’re unavoidable but it feels less common than just meat grinding

Watcher has a big focus on deck manipulation. If you have enough of that through scry, innate, draw effects or other methods you can get pretty consistent decks.

That was definitely a hard run. Have watched loads of these videos and normally you just melt through the spire but this one really made you put your thinking cap on.

Hot damn that was close. Winning on a run like that feels so good. You know you could have lost at any moment to a single mistake, but you made it through regardless. Well played Baalorlord :)

A heart condition, huh? You're just lucky it wasn't an attack. Those can really pack a wallop and make you have to rush down to the hospital. A doctor would need more than a wave of the hand to fix you up; it could take a miracle! You must maintain a devotion to protect your heart health so that your life doesn't conclude early. Don't even get me started on prostrate cancer...

he's got another channel of stream archives. tons of content there and I think every stream has at least one unsuccessful run. yeah it's good to see runs which aren't just total steamrollers

This man gets ice cream every run and I’ve played 150 hours and got it one time. I’ve been offered it two times in the shop with not enough money.. I’ve seen the relic 3 times other than here. The one run I did get it I won though.. that is probably the best relic in the game.

If you didn't find pocketwatch, this deck would've had a really hard time. And that's why I always hastate to build around divinity, there's just not enough card draws.
