About the water resistance. Swiss watches don't pass the ISO certification, If their watch is good to 320m they will mark 300m In japanese divers if the watch is good for 300m they will put 200m. As a requirement for the ISO is to be able to handle much more than the stated wr. Thay 600m is probably close to 1000m If you look at experiments with for example 1000m seikos they reach 3000m until they fail. A G-shock frogman reached 300m with no problem. a 200m iso values more than a swiss 300m.

Hei, seiko also has 1000m diver which has been tested passed 3000m mark. Japanese modesty. Anyway, i tested this watch. Very nice. A bit too big for my 6.5 inch wrist, but, not overwhelming. I will go for the new LX diver by ken okuyama. This one is qualified for saturation diving, without helium, thus, superseding the marinemaster. It's done by lowering the centre of gravity by the science of equilibrium, which also allow the watch to sit comfortably on the wrist despite the size. Apparently, bec of the way it's designed, the Zaratsu surfaces play even better with the light. The mechanism is also Zaratsu polished like all gs. This is indeed a Ferrari of a watch.

When you can get a clasp an band for $ 500 that's better than the G.S. doesn't say alot for that model the point I would have rethought showing it . It's like here's a expensive watch that's just ok with serious flaws for the price point.

It's really hard to get a good look at the watch as you move your hands around too much. Other than that nice review.

The SBDB001 (Marinemaster 600) is a better watch and more beautiful...and costs less with a spring drive movement.

Don’t care how nice of a watch this is. Way too big.
