Who Framed Roger Rabbit was not really for families. It's a dark, gritty and violent murder mystery where the hero tortures a (mostly) innocence man for information. The film's cartoony antics are there to intentionally create an unsettling tonal dissonance in the movie. Lolita shouldn't be viewed as controversial; she's a child who is as emotionally precocious as she is socially naive. She's a victim; Humbert is the controversial figure. They should have mentioned the early Looney Tunes character Bosco. He was such an overt minstrel stereotype that they stopped making cartoons about him because even in the 1930s they thought he was offensive.

This is definitely quite a list. A lot of these characters I honestly did not know about because of well coming from before I was even born. And some of the other ones I didn't know about was just because they're from things that I just haven't watched before. Really glad to see of course red and stimpy, cartman, Beavis and butthead, and jar jar Binks on here though for sure as well as Glenn Quagmire. Considering you guys mentioned Quagmire I have to say it's kind of a surprise not to see Herbert the pervert on here.

You could make a list of this just in the realm of Sports Entertainment/Professional Wrestling because when I think of a controversial character Goldust might just be the most controversial character I have ever seen at the beginning of the character anyway, Godfather who was actively promoting the pimping lifestyle on National TV. New Jack who freaking attempted to actually kill his opponents if they even looked at him wrong. Raven crucifying Sandman. The Raven character in general was highly controversial who used religion as a heel.

@@MrWolfchamp-xi3cu It’s because he is the ONLY character in the movie acting like that. In the Originals (and Sequels) the comedy comes off naturally as many characters play off of one another (Han, Luke, Leia, Lando, Rey, Finn, Poe, C-3PO, R2-D2, BB-8 etc.) But in the Prequels it doesn’t work because every other character is stiff as a cardboard cutout. So it’s not just Jar Jar that’s the problem, it’s every character in the movie.

Endevor was quite abusive, but I think Mineta and Bakugo deserve to be honorable mentions. One's an obnoxious pervert who peeps on girls too much, and the other screams in anger almost every time he speaks and yells at and Threatens Izuku for every little thing. I honestly don't know which Class member is more annoying.

There was a lot of hate towards Endeavor's redemption arc and the author got death threats because of it, too. While I understand the anger because to me he was the embodiment of human garbage, his attempt at redemption and admitting to his past sins towards his family made me respect him a little. Like a tiny bit.

Jar Jar Binks may not get his own series, but at least he got a chance to have his own adventure in the two part episodes of "The Disappeared." Jessica may have been over sexy at times, but so was Betty Boop, Tinker Bell, and Droopy's girlfriend Red. And somehow they all manage to stay on TV without any cancellations.

"13 Reasons Why" pretty much suggested that suicide is the ultimate method of revenge. Hannah basically thought that by committing suicide she could get even with all of the people who had wronged her in some way.

You can like the Prequels. That’s just the timeline I’ve found myself in, and I’ve accepted that. But I’m glad we can all agree Jar Jar was a mistake, and not the key to all of this like George thought he would be.
