I agree with Jason, it's hard to imagine this list being complete without even ONE INSULT from the great "Full Metal Jacket" which I've ALWAYS considered (as a former Marine) one of the closest renditions of what actually happens in a Marine boot camp

My Dad was in Viet Nam and knew Ermey. Yes, he was a drill instructor towards the end of the war, During the war, he was a truck driver. His job was to drive the locals out into the field, drop them off so they could do brush clearing, road maintenance, etc and return to base. Then at the end of the shift he would drive back out and pick them up to return them to base. He never made it past Staff Sergeant until his movie career when the Marines honorably promoted him to Gunny. My Dad retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant, with 1 tour in Korea and 2 in Viet Nam. My Dad will be 84 this year and he is still here.

I'd like to understand, WatchMojo: how do you have ANOTHER "top 10 of alltime" list for the exact same subject? By definition that would make none of the selections in either lists "top 10's of alltime," and not only does it make ALL of the honorable mentions completely redundant features in these lists, but in fact it defeats the entire purpose of your channel. How's that for a top 10 insult? I could film myself saying that in a movie short, and you could include it in your next list.

Omg, i did not know Gunny adlibbed most of his insults. It must've been so difficult for the other actors to keep straight faces as they would be the first ones to hear it and not be prepared ahead of time. The smiles on Pyle's face were probably legit fighting back laughter and not just acting.

No, no ... it's not that Alexandra found Daryl Van Horne "too tempting to resist," he broke her down. Remember? Just as she had turned on her heels and was heading out the door, Daryl reeled her back in with a scathing summary of her life. It reduced her to tears, a point of vulnerability that Daryl then took advantage of by offering to allow Alex to "use" him, "fill" him, and thereby purge her life of futility.

The best insult I have ever heard came from the movie the blacks. a character on there says, "Your mama was ugly she made right guard take a left and turned secret into a rumor." funny as heck. I could not stop laughing.
