We only use Goulds jet pumps. We do use the Zoeller M53 exclusively for sump pumps though.

I had 3 everbilt 1hp deep well jet pumps on a 2" well casing. New galvanized drop pipe, leathers, footvalve ejector etc. Those pumps all failed within 2 months... All from same home depot it would run perfect for 2 weeks then stop building pressure amps and lra perfect. Put in a Stayrite and it's been absolutely perfect since I will never buy any motor from a big box store anymore. Only thing good is they always refunded me when I returned it lmao. Great video man

I’ve installed a few of these that customers bought… So far so good with the few I’ve installed. Also I used the Jet attachment and ran them set up like that. I’ve never ran one with the jet down in it.

Yea I wish I had more time to explain in the video but Zoeller bought out F&W pumps. Now they sell these CPH exact copy's at Lowes for less than wholesale cost! Atleast you could get parts for them if need. Just never install one on a air volume control, only takes one time to lose prime and destroy the impeller and possibly motor overnight.

Do you need a -4” pipe for the shallow well setup ?

No shallow well can hook up by 1" pvc just need enough room to put a foot valve. If it's like a 1-1/4" steel casing you need a check valve inline to work.

Thanks for the video! This Is a private branded pump, who is it made by? Could it be a F&W? Does it show a Kendallville, IN address? F&W does make good pumps!

Will this mount to the old gould 2 inch packer adapter? I have a goulds sj10 that's toast and i can't find anything local.

No that is a 2 stage deep well pump and the jet in the well won't match the Zoeller pump. It may pump but not good pressure and it won't mount to the casing adapter. You would need a Starite MSE to match but needs a different adapter or a conversion flange to mount.

@Clear Water Pump & Well LLC. I appreciate the quick reply. I was talking about it at work and one of my techs recommended a well guy he has used in the past. I got a replacement sj10 2 stage waiting for me when I get off work. 1150, which is a good as the cheapest one I could find online including shipping fees and I don't have to wait 2 days for delivery.

I bought a Visio tv it dyed after a few years like a dummy bought another one thinking it was a fluke 6 mouth later the new one dyed also manufacturer say (OH SO SORRY)

Zoeller bought out F&W like over 10 years ago. They just rebranded the CPH10 to be sold at Lowes.

@@ClearWaterPumpWellthanks for the quick reply. I watch all your vids. I cant get my pump over 50psi. 40-60psi pressure switch. Its a 1 inch single pipe that drops down with an ejector.single pipe with. 2 inch well casing. I installed new tank, pressure switch and pressure gauge. I can turn the power off and it doesnt leak down in pressure. Wondering your thoughts?

@@darrenhughes8106 you probably have a 20'+ water table. The performance and total head pressure drops the deeper it gets to 25' where the shallow well pump is not useful for house pressure as it will barely get to 40 psi. You may need to move to a deep well pump with jet in well. The zoller and fw are Convertable but need a casing adapter and 2" jet assembly. Don't push your pump to hard to gain the last few psi after it slows down or it will run hot and melt the pvc and damage the impeller.
