Thanks for the video which is simple and clear instructions. IF I suggest anything would be to lower the volume on the music so that your valuable detailed instructions can be easily heard.

Our master bathroom has a standing shower with handheld shower head. We started to see some rust spots in the hose not to mention heavy mineral built ups in the shower head because our house has very hard water despite water softener we have. My wife picked out this handheld shower head to replace our old one because she loves the brush nickel finish to match our bathroom decors but this turned out to be very impressive handheld shower head. Although I have replaced shower heads many times in the past, it came with nice instruction on how to replace it for those who's not familiar with it. My only advise would be to use wrench to hold the base spout when removing and installing the holding adapter so you don't accidently twist and damage the base pipe when you over tighten it. I really appreciate that it came with plenty of plumber's tape because you really want to put that on before connecting different parts so that there's no water leak in between threads. This is one of most common mistakes and reasons why there's leak after installing it. Very happy to see that they have provided plumber's tape to remind you to use it! It also had rubber rings/washers in each connector but it also came with extra one, which is nice. They also included a shower drain cover to prevent hair from going in to the drainage, which is a nice bonus. I really love the brush nickel finish, which makes it look elegant and expensive. The 7 different water spray setting is nice to have so you can change it for different purpose. We will most likely leave it on one setting for most of the times but it's nice to have option to change it when needed, such as jet spray for cleaning the shower wall, etc. After replacing the shower head, I didn't see any leak and the stainless steel hose feels sturdy. I also like that I can rotate and tilt the shower head holder and it stays in place. Overall, very happy with this shower head! amzn.to/3gVZIrH

Hi there, did the plastic piece that you screwed into the pipe have a rubber gasket in it? I re-attached mine but still leaks even with Teflon tape. I think I lost a gasket somewhere. Thanks

Had some issues with ours (quick shut-off handle model) only sold from Costco. The bracket that holds the handle cracked causing spraying leak. WP could not replace original bracket with quick shutoff lever for some ungodly reason. They couldn't get access to part whcih sounds ridiculous. All cheap plastic anyways advertised as "chrome" or "brushed nickle." If you ever have to deal with warranty department for parts, do not tell them you used plumbers tape. They said it can cause plastic to swell, which will cause cracks. They advertised new part as "unbreakable bracket" or something like that, but you can see moldng line inside middle of bracket. Probably ony a matter of time until it cracks again. I just received part after purchasing temporary universal bracket for about $3 from local plumbing store. Just logged onto your video as I took water restrictor out and couldn't remember which way pivot swivel was supposed to face, I think only threaded one way anyways. Just replaced and back in business with "Kramer type" black market head. "Oh, Jerry couldn't handle that one - he's too fragile!" LOL

I can't really talk trash about the music since you were a great help to me, but just leave the music out of it next time, dude, you don't even need it! Thanks again. 🙂👍

Hello, Thank you for the Great Video, Couple questions 1. Why did you remove silicion or the tape that is already there? how does putting new tape help? 2. How is the water pressure? 3. Where is the broken shower head from? is it same shower head?

NO WATER FLOW AFTER INSTALLATION Lack of water flow after installation is usually caused by a washer remaining in the shower pipe from a previous shower. Please remove the shower head. Using a pencil or similar object, probe and check the shower pipe to see if a washer is stuck up inside the pipe. Confirm the white filter screen is firmly seated in the pivot ball and only one black washer is installed in the pivot ball. Some models of shower heads have vacuum breakers in the hose. This device prohibits the flow of water back into the water source. The vacuum breaker end of the hose should be installed closest to the water supply.
