We bought a house finally! Today I’m sharing the home buying process for us first time home buyers in 2023. I’m also giving some sneak peeks at what our 60-year-old fixer upper looks like. I can’t wait to share the journey of transforming this house with you all!

Also, you can put cups with white vinegar around the house, works great.

What do the cups of white vinegar do? Take away smells, I've never heard this but I love using vinegar and baking soda to clean around the house!

@@Legend0222 yes, we rented a house one time and it had been closed up for months. We puts cups of vinegar all around and it got rid of the musty smell. I use vinegar a lot.

Congrats! Older homes are so fun. We bought a house built in 1973 18 months ago. Similar to yours, the outside is beautiful with mature trees, flowers, and green lawns. We've had fun remodeling it. :)

I'm delighted you got through the process this time and you now have your house. The house we moved into this time last year is a 60s house and we are just coming to the end of our renovations (in the UK). The big thing was rewiring. Everything was running off extension leads! I'm really looking forward to your videos as you work on this house and get it as you want it. Wishing you lots of luck.

I’m so excited for you and your family! My husband and I bought a home for the first time in September and I remember it being a stressful process because we had to line it up with our apartment lease ending. After hearing your story ours wasn’t that stressful 😅 we got the first house we were under contract with. I’m soooo excited to see all your DIY’s!!

Hurrah!🎉🎉🎉🎉 Next Tuesday will be 1 year since we signed the papers for our house & 1/2 acre of land in Paducah KY. It's great & we've done a lot to update our 1989 house & our yard. PS: love the porch!
