I would have just cut that slat up another 1/4 inch or whatever you needed. Man! Lots of little things that made this door difficult to install it looks like! Great job and even greater idea with a roll up door! I would have never thought of that. What a space saver!

Thanks. It also bugs me that there are no adjustments. The holes aren’t slotted at all so I couldn’t easily raise the track if necessary.

Thanks for the shed series by the way! My wife wants me to build her a shed. A roll up door is the only way to go! I will probably build another one as well just to get my zero turn and 4 wheeler out of the garage.

Depending on where you live, you can go bigger. We were limited to 200 square feet and 10-foot high.

@@handydadtv I'm not zoned where I live. I can build whatever but she wants her own shed and I'm looking to effectively make my garage bigger by moving 2 big pieces of equipment into a shed that I need to build! 😁😁

Love the door but now realizing the pricing I'm definitely going with a wood door for my shed

notice neither the two of them wearing and eye protection there may not be a potentail danger in what they working on but the slightest spek of remaining saw dust which we know exists can cause eye damage

Did you do anything to keep rain off the wood floor on the outside of the roll up door? Looks like water will sit there and eventually rot your floor.

I'm not sure if the track was supposed to sit onto the floor. If it was a 1/2" off the floor then the latch would've been perfect.

Yes that would have worked in hindsight. The directions and manufacturer’s installation video show lifting it in place like we did. They said nothing about raising it off the floor.

I'm just guessing. Sounds like instructions are even worse than what you are saying unfortunately lol. I'm still thinking of putting one on the shed I have to build tho.
