So one reason why Jinshi met with Lihaku and offered to pay for Lihaku to buy out Pairin, was to see if Lihaku could be bought with money/bribes and if he's to be trusted, since Lihaku is one of the fastest rising soldiers that works under Lakan. Jinshi is pretty much getting a feel for who can be trusted right now.

Blue roses do not exist naturally. They can be "faked" with dyes. The series Blood+ also used blue roses, but those were specially engineered.

It's weird because I read Jinshi offering Lihaku money as not just vetting his character, but also trying to see if he was good enough for Maomao's family member. I didn't really see it as him being jealous after Maomao explained the situation.

5:28 yes that is definitely a thing. Another reactor named DefinitelyZach(afaik he said his day kob is being a real life pharmacist) discussed it in a video of his that some women are capable of lactating even if not pregnant. He actually made a separate video for it because he seems like got to engrossed in the scenes of this episode and forgot to give insight on the medical terms

I also think she should be higher up in rankings but the thing is she doesn't want to draw any attention towards her and so hides her intuitive and thinking capabilities of course Jinshi makes her do it regardless either by piquing her curiosity or because he is her higher up either way because he gauged out not totally but that she is very intelligent as long as she can do drug research she is good and doesn't need anything else. So if she doesn't want to prove her intellect or knowledge in medicine no one at least during that time even now too simply take anyone's words at face value i don't know if it is the right word please bear with my bad English but without proof of their work there will be thousands of people claiming different / same things everyday is what i wanted to say basically but sure did drag on sorry about that.

You guys are taking Jinshi's offer for a face value, which is way too careless. I'm pretty sure Lihaku woud've lost his career if not his life had he chosen to take the money. With everything that is happening in the palace at the moment, having an acquaintance who is desperate enough to accept a large sum of money from a stranger would be a grave weakness.
