For me it was always obvious that putting your own money into a crowdfunding campaign is something you have to do in case of missing the goal. Some sort of unspoken truth. I’m very delighted to see you being so honest about this, still down to earth. 😉

+WeirdCan we knew we had to do that, but instead of putting our money in this time. We pre-raised from ppl that we then put in. That I think is the best way to do it cause you don’t have to put stuff from your savings but still get a boost

Thanks a lot for those advices, but one question, when you wait for the car to came, do you have a Lav mic on you or a shotgun mic on top ? Because the sound is crisp but we still can ear the car.. Maybe you do a lot in post ?

Actually I tried the internal mics on the pocket 4k on that one! Was surprised how well it held up! But because I got the shot out of focus I didn’t want to point out that it was shot on that camera at 3200iso. But that was the intention, to test the iso and internal mics :) will have to test the iso with better focus next time, but I did it in a rush before leaving the kid at pre-school so messed that up

Huh I thought you weren't allowed to fund your own kickstarter.

True! You're not, but you're allowed to raise funds offline from a companies and then put it in the campaign. Sorry, I missed to clarify that in the video!

Lol, so it doesn't matter if it's not gonna get 100% funded, since you put enough of your own money in it? And just faking a successful Kickstarter campaign, to "gain hype"? Sorry, but this video was utter BS, hope people realise that you shouldn't take KS advice from this man.. The title of this video shouldn't even try to promote any useful insights in crowdfunding..

Eh no, I was unclear here. We raised money offline to boost the campaign. Totally reasonable way of fund raising buddy

Crowdfunding is a form of fundraising. A lot of people pre-raise in order for the campaign itself to be more controllable. Nothing new there...
