Definitely! I'm much more open to it now but Jim Carrey is just so unique that it's hard to see him as another already iconic character BUT I think I'm now fine with accepting this other live-action version of Robotnik. 😊

Also, doing something like that is incredibly risky, especially as it was going to come out December time, when movies make the most profit, yet they pushed it to the beginning of 2020, where they get less money. No movie studio would give up a slot like that. That and you have ZERO evidence to support it was a marketting ploy, just like we don't, but its more likely they listened because they cared and by doing so, would make people happy.

Nope there were in fact toys of the original design sonic that were sold. If they planned on changing the design all along then it makes not sense to waste time and effort making toys about a design that was predetermined to be shortlived.
