I think the best way to not get hurt from sugar. Is don't swallow the tea like professionals wine taster. They drink and hold it and move around their tongue then spit it out. So probably won't get hurt from sugar coma.

For a long time I wasn't interested in bubble tea because I was scared I wouldn't like it and waste mine or someone else's money. But recently I bought my kids some fruit cups with popping fruit juice boba in it and it was delicious. My personal opinion: Honestly, Sharetea and Each a Cup could have been placed in F-tier... I remember back in the days when they were the budget option for bubble tea, and were usually made by middle-aged ladies in the neighbourhood for kids and teenagers. I used to buy them with my friend for about $1.50 a cup, and it was a great option for kids who didn't have a lot of money but still wanted bubble tea. And then, for some reason, they tried to become a little more 'higher-class' with their branding and franchising, charging one cup at $4 or more but keeping it at the same budget quality as before. Sure, I still have fond memories of them from back when I was a student, but as a working adult and knowing full well that I can get the S-tier stuff (Xing Fu Tang is my personal favourite) at around the same price just makes me not want to give them the time of the day.
