After all this time we finally made it to Indonesia for the first time! Today, we will be walking around the streets and giving our first impressions of Indonesia! We will be traveling to places like Jakarta and Yogyakarta in upcoming videos so be prepared for those, but until then we spent our first time in Indonesia and our first couple days in the country, exploring the streets of Denpasar, Bali.
In this video, we will be eating at some of the delicious cafes in Bali and even trying Satay in Indonesia for the first time! We'll also be discovering some of the famous Indonesian beaches as well as discovering the streets of Denpasar at night after watching an amazing Balinese sunset!

16:08 I'm sure you guys were joking. But just in case you were not (or for those who doesn't know yet), that ancient symbol is a Swastika, which is related to Hinduism. Not to be confused with Nazi's logo although looks similar.

They were most definitely not joking. very few people, like 0.001% of the population, knows the difference, and obviously you did not know the difference either. these are two different simbols. line them up side by side and you will see the difference.

Indonesia is famous for their Natural sceneries, Bromo Malang is one of the most famous and reachable, we also have bunch of beautiful waterfall, Tumpak Sewu is really cool, but a little hard to reach if you're not really into 'adventure' 😅, also last time we got a huge flood from the erruption there, so I'm not sure if it's already fully recovered yet. Indonesian Temples like Candi Borobudur and Prambanan also so beautiful. There are also some beautiful waterfall in Bogor, they are not as big as the ones in East Java, but ofcourse way more reach able, Curug Seribu in Bogor is really pretty

I suggest before going to a different place, make a community post where your next destination will be, so that your viewers can already comment some suggestions. Not everyone follows you on ig or other platforms. Cuz by the time your video comes out, people are still commenting what to visit, what to eat or do, but you're no longer on that place. 😊

While in Bali go visit Nusa Penida & Lembongan island, then Ubud , Lovina Beach, Uluwatu Beach Go to Lombok, another island about 2 hours by ferry. In Lombok, go visit Gili Trawangan island by ferry. You'lll love it there.

They are many diving and snorkling spot in Indonesia besides Bali, such as Raja Ampat in West Papua, Ora Beach In Molucas (Maluku Islands), Lombok, Komodo Islands, Bunaken in North Sulawesi, Tanjung Bira in South Sulawesi, Derawan Island part of Indonesian Borneo side if you want to see the beauty of the nature, you can go to Lake Toba in North Sumatra, Mount Bromo you can see beautiful sunrise here, Candi Borobudur and Candi Prambanan in Yogyakarta. So many places to go in Indonesia. Fyi, Charlie Chaplin had been to Indonesia in 1930’s twice. He went to Jakarta Bandung, Garut, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bali. In Bandung Chaplin stayed at Savoy Homann Hotel for his 1st visit and Preanger Hotel in his 2nd visit. Many interesting places to visit in Indonesia!

One thing you have to prepare when going to areas that are not very international tourist/regions other than Bali is Bahasa Indonesia or you can use Google Translate when communicating, because you will find more Indonesians who don't understand English.

The symbol 卐 or 卍 for Balinese Hindus is called the Swastika which can be referred to in other words as Surya (sun) which has the basic meaning of strength, salvation, happiness of the entire universe, also has the meaning of God's omnipotence in the eight cardinal directions. The Nazis used this symbol for this reason, it has a long story but the point is that this symbol originally belonged to Hindus and it doesn't mean that Bali supported the Nazis.. that's a very different thing.

You saw many people in Bali. You will see more people in Java. Even not as touristy as Bali (like what you said), especially for foreigners, but Java is very touristy for lokal (Indonesians). There are many tourism places, in term of size of course more than in Bali.

Actually is better transportation In Java than Bali, you can go w train, bus, Apps, airplane but all depend where province you Will go. Bali you need ride scooter also like lombok if you wanna chill just go to island hoping with small island. When you come back again you have to prepare with driving scooter and license like the two lost boy did
