This is why I keep telling Nigerians. Stop wasting money travelling to Dubai, London, New York on vacation. Stop the capital flight. Stop enriching other continents with your money. In Africa there is EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a fantastic, memorable vacation. Tanzania is just ONE of the numerous fabulous destinations in Africa. There are many others. There are amazing resorts in the GAMBIA that you could never find in the USA or Dubai, or UK. But will our colonial mentality allow us to appreciate our own? Heck, even the Caribbean has amazing destinations. Jamaica is fantastic, with some of the most beautiful resorts, and delicious food on Earth. Tayo, I implore you to also tour the Caribbean, because that is also AFRICA. Please my people. Let us open our eyes to the beauty within our nations. Only then can we truly ever be independent, proud, and free.

The poverty mindset of many, the bad mediatic portraying Africa as evil, plagues with diseases and the greed of some people generally leaders of various departments and especially in the politics arena has led many to corrupt the mind of the mass exemplifying the greatness of foreign lands above the MAJESTIC AND ALL BEAUTIFUL, ALL INCLUSIVE AND DIVERSES LAND WHICH IS AFRICA. Travelling to such Europeans and Other nations other than Africa, is directly or indirectly a way partaking in the evil THEY DO and being an advocate of their control of Mother land. Visiting any country in Africa, will help the economy and depreciate the absurd and gigantic fees FOREIGNS airlines have put on the fees to stop Africans to explore their own lands...

Please take the necessary steps to remove corruption from all levels of government and business. Only then will Africa achieve its full potential.

Absolutely, the riches need to be put in Africa and support african businesses, we as Africans need to promote Africa’s tourism. We have so much beauty in that continent it’s unbelievable. We honestly don’t need to go elsewhere for vacation, our continent is massive, that’s how I feel, my goal is to visit as much african country as I can. I’m in love with my continent.

@Marian Hanson Self-Esteem Coach I am a Lagosian. And I can tell you for free, it is an interesting place, when you know how to get to places avoiding traffic. Asides that, nightlife is sweet, the streets are relatively safe, the people are friendly but there's a lot of road rage in traffic🤣😂. Just get a good map if the places you'd like to go, and ask well meaning people to help

Though I can agree with you that each and every country in Africa has something uniquely beautiful about them this doesn’t negate the fact that Tanzania which boast stretches and streches of coastal line, pristine beaches, warm water, being part of the great lake region, amazing wildlife, highest peak in Africa and having one of the best infrastructure in Africa make it a clear candidate in the category of « best » in Africa. Don’t take my word for it go see for yourself. I’ve been to 15/54 and I am not even from Tanzania

Fun fact: Tanzania (mainland) is a very big country with 26 regions. Each regions has its own headqurter and many lower administrative divisions, a least one settlement in each region has developed to a level of a city or a municipality. My favorites though are the smaller municipals where you can get both the urban and suburbs feels easy to get around and get everything a city can offer. I sure love my country 🇹🇿Karibuuuuuu.

I’m blown away! I’m blown away, even though I’ve heard of Zanzibar growing up in school in Ghana never in my wildest dreams envisioned it as beautiful as this. Besides living over twenty years in USA and seeing every vacation destination being in the Caribbean, Europe and Asia with no mention of beautiful islands in Africa with the exception of the Safari’s which in itself is astounding. East Africa is magnificently beautiful! I need to explore Africa my home continent. Thanks for the KZfaqrs changing the narrative with this exposure!

I have done my own part by visiting Tanzania from Nigeria in 2013 and stayed for 15days since then i knew tanzania is one of the most peaceful place on earth i stayed in kunduchi area and went to bagamoyo but i like hanging out at koko beach in d evening so many people and humble ppl and they have much love for Nigerians i really appreciate that

I lived in Tanzania for over 3 years and I explored the nation , too peaceful, naturally "natured" and very cheap to stay, visit other regions and you feel peace and tranquility in your soul but thier laws are with a bigger stick. Just try and abide with the law and it's a lovely country. 2012 to 2015 will always be in my heart

You're right brother. Our laws are quite strict especially when it comes to business, residence or work. However, the current president is working on changing a few things to attract investment and simplify business. Karibu tena kaka!

I was in Tanzania Dar es Salam on the Xmas eve and i can tell it is the best place to be. People are cool and extremely kind. The Swahili they speak is far much different from what we Kenyans do, i feel as if i will shift and live in that country man.

I've seen all of Southeast Asia, Nepal, India, and Bhutan having lived in Thailand these past 7 years and it is time to travel to other exotic places. At this rate, you should get a fashion and a country economic adviser, and add local fashion, music as well as country economic information and news to the mix! Mozambique and Mauritius are other African travel destinations worth visiting. 10/10!

Tayo you captured this so beautifully. I went to Zanzibari for the first time in 2019 and the crystal blue beaches owerwhelmed me. I am Kenyan so I do think we have very beautiful beaches ourselves, but to be honest what I saw at Kendwa beach in north Zanzibar was remarkable. I had never seen such blue waters. When I went I stayed on an elevated Airbnb beach hut which had an open view out to the ocean in Kendwa beach. It was breathtaking to say the least - and only 25 dollars a night. Keep on shining the light on Africa!
