The car park you recognised was in last tango in Halifax where Alan parks his car the first time he meets Celia and his car gets nicked! I recognised it straight away because I've just binge watched it straight after happy valley lol. Thanks so much for bringing us round these locations, it was brilliant xxx

Happy Valley was fantastic, we watched episode 1 of series 3 by accident not having watched series 1 or 2, we enjoyed it so much that we binge watched series 1 & 2 and avoided watching any more of series 3 until we had caught up if that makes sense, I loved seeing this vlog and recognising the different places from the series, I was saying ooh yes that’s right as I was watching, thank you so much l😊👍

Absolutely adore Sarah Lancashire, she's so beautiful and outstandingly talented, my fav's are Happy Valley and Last Tango and have visited a lot of the filming locations, glad you showed where Claire and Catherine parked in Halifax whilst they were meant to be in Leeds/Sheffield, didnt know that one, the cafe Catherine and Claire had the conversation whilst the boys went to the prison was actually filmed in Bolton in Lancashire (Amico Cafe) near the market hall. Also noticed the scene when you mentioned in Halifax where the car parked on the strange car park, that was in Last Tango when Celia and Alan met up for their first cup of tea and Alans car was stolen. Thank you though, love seeing the locations. if you love Sarah as much as me, search some of her films etc the list is endless, approx 40plus films tv series, allll absolutely amazing. my dream one day is to meet the lady in person, we can all live in hope, thanks again guys, have followed you x

Also, in season 3 they filmed in Bolton, at Le Mans Crescent - they do lots of filming there (Peaky Blinders, Coronation Street) it's the old Magistrates Court - Tommy escaped from Court and ran into a shop. Also, the coffee shop that Catherine found out that her sister was taking Ryan to see his dad - Amico's cafe - this is also Bolton. Its lovely.

At timecode 21:15, it's the location where Joyce and Catherine are waiting for Joyce's fella to come pick her up in S2. I was there the other week with the missus ❤ I bent down to tie my shoe, and I remember there was a coffee cup there (not relevant, but I'm placing the scene). I, for some reason looked at the cup, then looked up and said as I realised "this is the place Catherine and Joyce were." Also, Stones Drive for Hepworth and Faisal is a nightmare for old cars like mine to drive up! My little car went all the way to the bottom to find it's a dead end, and it didn't like driving up that 45º hill! Awful! Haha! Thanks for making this video! Love it!

I went to Astoria, Oregon to see the Goonies sites. So much fun and a very cute town. Take your time driving along the coast, visit Haystack Rock. Such a beautiful part of the US!

Really enjoyed this, love happy valley, the infamous scene where Catherine confronts her sister was in a cafe in Bolton, name of street Bridgman at and market place, and those steps are on lower bridgeman street, we did the same as you rewatched from the start best thing on TV

What a great Vlog guys. I, like you are a bit obsessed with Happy Vally, but living in Cornwall, I’m not sure I’d get the chance to visit the locations for a while. I did once find the fire station used in London’s Burning. 😃 It was in Lewisham and I still have the selfie. Thank you for sharing your day. X

Loved this! So well researched guys. I absolutely loved “ Happy Valley”. Binge watched the first two series in 4 days whilst I was waiting for an electrician to call. I wasn’t bothered that he’d messed me about! I was disappointed that they filmed in Bolton and Halifax rather than Sheffield. They filmed some episodes of Dr Who and the new Full Monty film in flats across the road from me. You mentioned about wondering how film companies find locations . A girl I used to childmind her father and step mother were approached asking if their house could be used for an ITV drama. They put them up in an Airbnb whilst they filmed and boarded their pets . And gave them a fee. They even decorated a room with their permission & put different pictures and photos up. The company wanted to buy their house in the end but they didn’t want to sell.

I think this is a GREAT format addition to your vlog channel to provide these side "film location" commentaries (whether you provide it as you are vlogging or as an additional segment (I'm for the latter). I have only seen Series 3 of Happy Valley, but must go back and watch Series 1 and 2. I did enjoy seeing where the series was made. You always manage to make these trips interesting. I never worry about plot spoilers. The enjoyment is in the journey , not the end.

Season 3 was good, but if you watch from the beginning , you will get a much better prospective of the story , but be warned , it is gruesome in parts . The best series ever made 👍

Not long binge watched Happy Valley & absolutely loved this vlog. My partner is a film buff & when in New York took me around all the film locations. Love all your vlogs but especially your TV / film location vlogs. Also thanks for telling us the detective was Mosley from Downton, it was driving me nuts 🤣 👍❤ x

Great video, I was also going to recommend Amico cafe in Bolton where the two sisters have the showdown. There is also the side of the building where Catherine sees her daughter and has a breakdown. I tried to reenact the scene with my elderly father 😅 visit ye olde man and scythe pub which is one of the uks oldest and haunted, also the courthouse which TLR escapes from, and as previously said they filmed peaky blinders.

I lived in Rishworth for 15yrs but emigrated to New Zealand 5yrs ago, it was so nice to see the area again. My children attended Ryburn Valley High School on St.Peters Avenue in Sowerby Bridge which also appears in Happy Valley. If you carry on up Tuel Lane in Sowerby Bridge this is where the Chinese takeaway and house is where TLR kept Ann! Even though I lived there for so long I also found that everyone said “Sowerby” differently 😂

It’s pronounced Sorby Bridge… my husband taught at the Grammar/ High school there …. Sally Wainwright was in the sixth form 😀You missed the location of the school in Series 3, Ryburn Valley High School in Sowerby Bridge. My husband also worked there as deputy head for many years….the headmasters office where they had the meeting with the head master and Hepworth was the Heads off ice where my husband and colleagues would have a glass of wine on Friday after school…… Loved this vlog and of course, the fabulous series….. a nice change of pace and break for you two at the moment. X

I loved this! I love a mooch of filming locations - it's great to see all the venues, thank you. Just going by what programmes you like, have you ever watched Benidorm (Netflix). It's so funny and has both Siobhan Finneran who plays Clare in Happy Valley and her husband in the show is played by Steve Pemberton who was Kevin Wetherill in HV. Or if you want a good crime series then I recommend Luther and Unforgotten (think a new series starts soon) 🥰

What a fun video. Hebdon Bridge looks like a lovely town. Only watched one or two episodes of Happy Valley. Unfortunately in the US seasons 1 and 2 you have to pay via Paramount+. I think season3 will be on BBC America in May this year.

Hey guys I love your vlogs 💗 the street you were walking down in hebden with the chocolate shop was the street Catherine was walking down after going for a meal with her police lady friend ( can’t remember her name) and the mill at the end of that cobbled road is what they used for the restaurant location don’t know if you noticed this one! We loved Happy Valley too. We visited Settle last week for a trip on the train over to Carlisle. You have such stunning views and places in Yorkshire. Nearly as good as in Lancashire 😉 😂

@@TheLodgeGuys I really like a place called Parbold in west Lancs. It has stunning views on the top of Parbold hill, great walks including down the Leeds Liverpool canal. There is a place to eat called ‘yours is the earth’ that is right by the canal and in the village itself. Not far from Parbold are the villages of Newburgh, Mawdesley to name just a few. Mawdesley has a nice stop off called cedar farm. But it depends what you are interested in.

When you come to Cornwall again you need to visit Charlestown, a lot of things have been filmed there. Poldark, The Eagle has landed, in that film there is a sound of a motorbike, that shouldn’t be in it, and my hubby knows the guy who’s bike it is.
