If I’m not mistaken the performance model 3 got an over the air update to bring its numbers down to 3.2 sec 0-60 times and the dual motor with performance was brought down to 3.5 sec 0-60. I’m curious if your upgrade stacks on that, also can I still do over the air updates? How does it effect autopilot?

I wanted to do a bumper cover upgrade on my model S with nosecone, the car is still under warranty, but I was told by Tesla that it will void my warranty. Is that true? For a piece of plastic bumper cover?

This is really incredible and huge step for performance enthusiasts. Improving your car's performance is a huge part of the culture, and it is something that electric vehicles have really not be capable of doing until recently. That being said, I'd like to know more about the specifics of the upgraded "ghost" mods. What exactly was being changed in the modification? How does it impact battery life? Are there any unintended side effects (aside from the obvious warranty void)? Not trying to poopoo the accomplishment, but in order to see the "big picture" as you described, you should really give us the "whole picture" as well.

I absolutely love the bmw i8. Someone a few houses away from me has one and I see it everyday, don’t think it gets driven much tho unfortunately. Edit: I live in the midlands in England and seeing nice cars here is quite rare so that probably adds to why I like the i8 as much.

This is a huge boost to the Electrified Garage as many of these 2018 Model 3's have already gone out of warranty mileage wise, many more will be hitting that threshold soon. If this "upgrade" voids your warranty, no problem, it's already expired anyway! This may boost the resale value of a Model 3 as now someone can buy the Dual Motor for cheap and make it a Performance. Bravo.

this is awesome for tesla! great work rich, long term most tesla owners will own multiple and some people will want to tune. maybe they'll open up at tesla and work with not against you more in future but even if not this represents a big change for tesla owners.
