We have laid the keel for our first Bering 60 CATAMARAN!

You have already seen the Bering 60 CATAMARAN announcement video, and now we have the real thing - a keel laying ceremony for Bering Yachts’ first catamaran, which took place at the company's Antalya shipyard! The owners have started a new era in Bering’s history by welding the coin into the keel. The full-size aluminum catamarans will be fulfilling a void of ocean-exploring multihull vessels many customers have enquired about.
The owners have chosen a modification with the enclosed flybridge and four cabins: one extra-large master bedroom, two guest staterooms, and one crew. BC60 will be 18.9-meter long with an 8.6-meter beam, and 62.8 tons of displacement. Her cruise speeds will be between 12 and 13 knots, with 15 knots at maximum. Capable of ocean travel due to her 3,000-mile range, she will have a 1.4-meter draft, which will allow her to easier navigate shallower waters.

I can’t wait to see this build and its completion. We’d want a 3 cabin layout, where the owners suite (cabin, ensuite, walk-in closet, and office) takes up the entire port or starboard side, and two very nice VIPs on the other side. 😊. I’m thinking that’s doable.
