I have experienced this first hand with asian parents. Asian parents need to realise being strict because you want the best for your kids won't always turn out good. Most of the times the kids end up being fearful of your judgement and don't want to talk to you about very serious stuff because you have a black and white opinion on things. If this girl just told her mom about him..and mom allowed her to live with him first before getting married - mom could have saved her child from going into a horrible marriage. But she lost the chance

My Asian babe needs to break her relationship with APPROVAL. Not with her family. I think she enjoys feeling validated, but it is by someone who just isn't on the same page, she needs to be the person who validates herself. There was no practice run for living together with my first husband - that’s why we got engaged and married. I was worried about what my parents would think and wanted to follow the “proper” series of steps. We were quite young. It didn’t last. I see too much of that in the young couple. 😩

Florecita needs to leave that man, he’s cheated on her, they’re getting married based off circumstances, and the reasons he gave for marrying her benefited him in some way and only listed 2. he seems like he’s dependent on her and i don’t see any chemistry between them. i’m not one to judge though i don’t have one long term relationship under my belt 😭
