Haha I would but I plan to drive this regularly. If I turn it into a full offraoder then I may give that route.

Great video man. My brother and I have been restoring an S10 94 Blazer since may. Definitely going to lift it. One thing you might want to consider is converting the dash into the digital one. I just did ours and it looks great. We live in PA too!

Maybe before you do any more suspension mods you take care of all that rust. Plenty of good instructional vids on YT on how to do it. *Tip - whenever you're gonna be working on suspension or any bolts that tend to seize, plan a bit ahead and spray penetrating lubricant on all the nuts/bolts the day before you are going to be doing the work. Each time you apply the lubricant tap all around the nut/bolt area (a tack hammer works best) to help break the chemical bond that's created during the rust process. Keep the treated area warm after applying the penetrating lubricant, at least 75 degrees for the 24 hour treatment. You can always use an electric heating pad or heat lamps. The prolonged heat treatment will help the lubricant penetrate deeper in to the metal. The next day after you've done the initial 24 hr soak, once again tap all around the area that you treated, then apply one last good soaking of the lubricant, wait 1 hour, then you are good to start the nut/bolt removal process. When it comes to inexpensive brands, Liquid Wrench is your best bet for a penetrating lubricants. Those few easy steps will save you hours of frustration and lots of skinned knuckles not to mention having to replace parts. I like your garage/shop set-up. Where l live in the U.S. you gotta be rich to have a 2 car garage like that. The Blazer looks much better with that lift, as if that's how it should have come from the factory in the first place!

My buddy rolled his & got $15 from GM then died but I love that year model. I have an 02' Blazer ZR2 & love it. Especially for $3k that I paid for it 6yrs ago & it was garage kept, know one ever sat in the passenger & rear seats. Super clean.

That trans leak might be the output shaft seal on the trans. It leaks into the transfer case and fills it up till it overflows out of the vent. Mine did that.

The reason it has to turn over a second to start is. Gm set it up to build oil pressure before it will start .

So did you go with the 235 75 R15 if so did it rub? cuz that's the size I went with and it rubs like crazy but I haven't done my lift yet and by the way mine starts the same way as yours it takes a few seconds.

Just my opinion, powder coat the steel wheels black with the original center caps.

I changed my bushings last year while putting on those same shackles on my ZR2. Needless to say, the rear was on a lift for a few days. PB blaster and a lot of hammering. Like the pully removal idea.
