Night #2 of OHIO Speedweek at Fremont Speedway in the 410 Sprint Car was a big improvement from Night #1. We got a ton of valuable laps around the tiny 1/3 mile dirt track that is located there in Fremont, Ohio. Tanner and team have been working very hard to start the week to get the car faster and consistent to compete with the All Star Circuit of Champions!

Tanner I am so so proud of you you are one heck of a driver you know how to read the track and you know how to adjust to it. I would like to send you my email if it's okay with your mom and dad ? There is some antique pictures of my father of the number 2 Sprint car before he died in a crash in 1963 I will be more proud to be able to send you a few pictures if possible if you're interested. My father and AJ foyt were best friends back then and so was Mario and Roger Ward.

With the experience you are getting from this trip I'd put a hundred bucks on it that you win the main if nothing goes wrong on the car or another driver put you out.

Keep it up. We went to Volusia speedweeks in 2005, with UMP modified. I think we did 7 nights didn't make one main. Lots of great memories with family and friends. Steve Arpin was our pit neighbor. He won almost every night, would have but holed a piston. You keep it up you will get it done you have alot of talent, also a great support group.

Saw you live at Attica. You made made good progress at Freemont. Strong time trial run, very good heat race finish and made the A Main. Way to go! My plan (is) was to meet you at Wayne County....but more on that later.

Good job Tanner. As you get more experience running with these other cars it will become more and more easier. When you out there now there is just so much going on and than can be hard to keep up with. Be like when you first start racing on dirt it's hard to get comfortable not knowing how far you can hang it out there. How far is to far. Then as you drive and get to where you know what is the limits you get to were you don't even think about it. After racing with all these really fast guys it will be that you don't have to think about and then it become natural. Be safe and go get-m

How about some insight on the work going on on the car between races. Do you run only enough fuel for the laps of that race. Are the brake sizes just enough or are they aggressive stopping power. Car is so light I don’t imagine there’s much to work with. When you got lapped did it seem like they had rockets or did they creep by.

Maybe when you get back to OR put a hat cam on your pops. I know he is not sure that would be good but it would illustrate how much of team sports it is. I think your group all know what the goal is. Everyone bought in and pull 1 direction.

That was a dustbowl, not a speedway. As for the fence,, how is that even allowed. It would never get a track licence here in Oz with all those broken lumps of concrete,, and armco. As for you, you kept going, did not crash but you need to be faster, as you know

It’s giant styrofoam blocks, not broken lumps of concrete. They use them in the corners as a type of soft wall to prevent cars from hitting the concrete wall behind it. It looks like crap, but it’s saved teams thousands of dollars worth of equipment.

It’s his first time ever racing in this series in Ohio. These tracks are completely different then the ones in Oregon. He is doing incredible to even hang with these guys

Bro, you get killed on the restarts. Even when running against your hometown guys. I feel if you could be a lot more aggressive on restarts (especially against the All Star boys), it would put you in a better position to not have to play catch up after a lap or two.
