A few years ago I found a program called facegen, which can generate a mesh from your face from as little as 2 pictures by trying to fit to contours of the pictures to a generic model of a human face. The downsides are that it does not capture your hear and it only generates a good texture for the front of your face, but it does captures the shape quite well. I used this for an art project for highschool to create cross-sections of wood, which when stacked looked like my own face.

just print is on a 110g paper, this makes the build much easier and after completing the model, use resin in thin coast to harden the paper and possible later with fiberglass to make it real sturdy.

Love this! Just some other tips for pepakura- use a hot glue gun for instant hold and print the model straight on to the cardboard.
