This video makes me cry every time. Yes, we miss him still. 💜💚 This was recorded in the studio during the One More Light sessions. They were going to put this on the album, but they felt it was missing something so they shelved it. Recently they pulled it back out and realized it was so much closer than they thought it was to being finished. They're releasing this on the Papercuts album that's about to come out.

I balled like a baby during this… Recorded during their One More Light Album and the footage is actual from the process and that tour. This song was actually recorded in the studio in 2016 before Chester’s passing, they had Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Jon Green who wrote it. "Friendly Fire" is a song originally written for Linkin Park's 2017 studio album One More Light by Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Jon Green and just mixed around.

If you sit back and listen to the whole One More Light album, it is Chester's goodbye note. Really changes the meaning of that whole album. It's an understatement to say I miss Chester. Dude saved my, and so many other's, life.

I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again now. One of the most painful realities in my life, the singer whose lyrics helped me out run my own demons lost the race with his. I could never thank Chester and the rest of Linkin Park enough. These tracks always serve to remind me that I’m not alone, I just wish we could have helped Chester in the end.

I hear this song on the radio but never knew it was them. Yes, many meanings. Like what we're living in now, government trying to divide us Americans. At least that's what this song means to me. Why are we fighting each other instead of coming together to fight them together ❤❤. Love it guys.

what I noticed at the beginning of the video is they're all sitting around their lounge, in a very somber mood, like they're sitting there thinking of him, then when it shows them happy and animated, they're thinking back to the sessions they had with Chester. This song never fails to make me choke up and cry, a lot of their music does this to me now.

My uncle and I watched them debut, on MTV and when the album dropped, he got it for me. I was, in middle school and I just felt, connected to this man smh unfortunately, I had a similar sensation when I first, heard Aaliyah. I don't know why but I can hear, some kind of tragic death/dear soul element even, when I can't identify it, properly. Karen Carpenter, (i thought she was still alive when I first, cried to Send In The Clowns) Amy Whitehouse. I guess I'm here, to relate to people, like this and damnit, it's achy.

I cried the entire song, man hearing Chester's voice is so pure and wholesome. I recently found videos of Chester and Chris Cornell sharing thoughts about music and what not, it was amazing! Chris had a huge impact on Chester's life and Chester with Chris's life as well. When Chris left this world, I honestly think that it broke Chester more than what anyone could see. The world lost pure talent and amazing souls with both of them passing. Loved Linkin Park when they first came out and still do. Love the reaction videos! Cheers!

Man, Linkin Park was a huge part of my childhood as they are one of my Dad’s favorite bands. This made me cry hearing Chester & the lyrics 💖 On another note, a band that has similar vibes that I recently discovered and think you guys would love is Nevertel. They are beyond good and highly underrated! I recommend the songs Everything in my Mind, Feed the Machine, Modified, or No Reverse! Even if you don’t do a reaction vid, I know you’ll love the music 💖

I know y'all are BiG fans of LP like I am. I love that Mike and the Band are still willing to put out unheard songs for their fans. It almost feels even for a few mins worth or music, like Chester is still here with us. The reason why the song didnt release with the oml album is cause at that time they couldnt find a suitable beat and harmony/effects that you here now. I think brad said about the song is that they sat together at mikes place thinking about a „new“ project since the 20th anniversary album for meteora was received so well from the fanbase, that they could put together for us fans. They decided to put together a singles collection with the fan favorite qwerty finally getting officially released as a real song and friendly fire as a bonus, since it had always been a favorite for the band but as i said they couldnt make it work at the time. So now were all happy and excited to get a new song and mike is finally happy with making another of his favorite gems work, years after originally ditching it

Guys, just watched your Ghost Square Hammer reaction, loved it. I would recommend Unlucky Morpheus Cadaver/Revadac with sheet music. For more retro horror style imagry. Versailles Aristocrats Symphony music video same reason. Aldious Sweet Temptation music video also is horror themed. And Hanbie Run Away, this band is Metalcore mixed with Hip-Hop, guaranteed you both will love this aggressive high energy video
