I don't understand...30mph is the speed limit on this kind of cars 45kmh in other countries! There's a CDI who limit the speed...you can hear it the engine is limited

I did the same thing, bigger battery and motor controller to an electric scooter and it ripped!.. until the motor fried.

This is not meant to be a car by the manufacturer. Its meant as a bike alternative to those who are handicapped or old age. You need a special handicap license or be above the age of 80 to ride this in china and you can only ride this in the bike lane

@@loganleborgne420 I know some EV nuts will get mad at me for saying this but with cheaper crappier Speed controller/EV motors, Gearing still matters because its not direct motor to wheels like a EBIKE (I guess you could think of this like the mechanical parts are the bottleneck sorta if your trying to reach higher top end speeds than having the gears helps but you lose torque and you have added weight ever wonder why the motor hubs are in the center of an ebike tire? case in point the diff gearing is holding them back).In Inja case either they add different diff or change the gearing, or add a transmission and change the placing of the motor to get better top end speed last but not least they need some wider tires that Chinese car is to top heavy. DON'T LISTEN TO THE NAYSAYERS TRY IT YOURSELVES AND HAVE FUN. I TRY IT MYSELF AND WAS QUITE SURPRISED I MADE AN EV MOTOR BURN OUT AND IT WAS BLAST KEEP IN MIND THESE ELECTRIC MOTORS CAN BE PULL FROM ANYWHERE(Battery/speed controller temps are all that matters speed controllers are costly and hot batteries will kill)

I stuck a sticker on my Yamaha 2 stroke RD LC back in the 80s ,"I'd rather be riding" in small print and large,"DUCATI" underneath, stuck them on both sides of the tank. It was total Mad Max Rat Bike, resprayed with cans of paint I had lying around. The number of people who thought it was a DUCATI was astounding 😅 I bet you get the same thing with the Lamborghini badge on the Scamborghini..😅😅😅😂😂❤

40 mph in this thing probably feels like hitting 140 in the real Lambo. The wheels likely need to be larger or at least wider to maintain stability at this new top speed but how does cornering feel? Does it feel like it wants to tip over at all? Also: I see you, Replica Countach. Can't want to see what happens with that.

Yeah it gets real sketchy at 40mph! As you heard in the video. If you have good headphones and listen to it you can hear the steering and wheels shaking haha

Body roll is actually not as bad as you expect being so tall of a vehicle for it's short wheel base. But I wouldn't want to try hitting a turn too faster, either. Haha

I'm pretty sure the wheels aren't that easy to find but wheels with a different offset and just 10-20mm more thread would make it much safer. @@TheInja

I still think you should convert it to 4WD with 4 motors spinning independently left two reverse right two forward program a speedy spin 180 etc or just go crazy and keep spinning like a top do the suspension for a kangaroo 🦘 air suspension.. That and the previously suggested full roll cage 😂

If you hadn’t watched the story of this car, Nick bought it for $35,000. In the website shows a Quiantu K50 which is an electric supercar. When it was finally delivered, he got a microcar which became a scam. He emailed the seller, Han Tony with this item and things went a bit worse when Han wanted the video taken down and would sue Nick for it. In the end , Nick decided to keep the car, had Han Tony’s site shut down and did his best to convert it into a micro supercar.

Just do dual Motor put the old motor in front and the new motor in back and add some on Li batteries as you have space there ..that thing will be insanely fast 😂😂

I think the next challenge would be to meet with Donut Media. They bought a Chinese pickup truck for $2080. Fortunately, they weren’t scammed and received something else. Unfortunately they got alot of things added like the hydraulic bed option, the best battery possible, a freight forwarder, a customs agent, and warehouse maintenance fees which gives a total of about $8245. But other than that, I’d like to see what Donut Media thinks about the Scamborghini and probably do things like challenge it to a drag race with their Chang Li pickup.

That gets real expensive. Higher volts mean higher RPM related to speed. I believe with a 84v system he could easily hit 90mph

We did! Upgraded battery only, top speed was 30mph. New motor gave it +10mph

Slap some wider tires widen the wheel base and lift it up a bit to ger bigger tires. Then upgrade that motor or see if you can run two. And throw another battery inside. This thing can probably go very fast. Also need to beef up the components connected to the front wheels something rated for higher speed

What is the battery pack out of from Ford? What is the charger? I have a 2000 corbin sparrow and wonder if two of these packs could be used to replace the 13 yellowtop optimum batteries. Thanks

Not quite sure the vehicle of origin on the module. I think it was a Lincoln or some other Ford subsidiary. The charger is an adjustable charger up to 130v, I believe. We’ve started using it for all our projects. As for the Corbin, I just looked it up a bit. Super cool vehicle! It is only a 20kW unit, which is 128 amps. These modules could easily supply that and would likely be a range improvement. The only problem would be matching voltage. These modules come with 24 cells in series each, and you’d need exactly 46 to match. You’d be just over the voltage, but it would be very close to compatible. You could always open it up and pull it off at the 22 cell on your second pack. All told, though, it’s a pretty good option

How are the electronics powered? Were you able to increase the voltage without frying it, or did things need to be separately stepped down? Also, could the stock speed controller handle a bit more voltage, without an upgrade? (For someone that might want a milder upgrade)

That's Amazing. I was waiting for this Series for a very long time. There is bunch of youtubers got this car now or similiar. I think they will copy you on this project if they see it. Yo, Install some fatter wheels and tires on this thing, Will be way safer and better to drive and wear a helmet, just in case :) I look forward to see Kurt Push this Contraption over 100mph or make a long range monster!
