You're so close now, and you do what you have to do to line up the body kit and make things fit. Nobody will see any of it from the outside. And you're learning all kinds of useful skills like repairing electronics. That car is going to be so awesome for you when done and you'll know it inside and out. I have jury rigged parts I didn't have by making what I did have work once I knew what the part was trying to do and modify mine to work. I made a shift linkage work on my Dart for the 4bbl upgrade by just throwing a small bolt in the slotted bar to make it think it was shorter like the one I needed. Worked for many years till I finally found the right part. Keep living your dream. 👍

yeah, that won't pass smog atm. I'd get a 10 or 30 day moving permit and hope the smoking works itself out being driven around. This has been an awesome trip, thanks for taking us with you on it!

Car looks great. Body work takes a lot of time and skill to be honest it took me years to get good at it plus serving my apprenticeship taught me a lot. Not forgetting of course some great people I worked with and learnt from . Congratulations you've done well

For the price it does sound legitimately impressive, Since I click on most of my subscriptions without looking at the title I was shocked when I did look down to see the price, I thought maybe it was for the X50 and even then I thought that was pretty cheap. I honestly like the X70 frame design a lot more... the color, meh, but the design is sweet.

I think you might have actually made this car even more serviceable by skipping the panel bond process. The hood looks a little gappy on the right side but sounds like you'll have that knocked out in no time. As I understand it even stock MacLarens have fitment issues, so You're probably in good company there.

They don't come with a working taillight anymore. Now you just get a reflector. Easy to change out.

X70 does both battery's work in there location here? Or do you have to swap the battery's over to use the second? Is the mileage u did over both battery's or 1? I can see if you fell off it i can see the key snapping off in the ignition on them but I like the 70.

First of all love your content, second great job only 3 weeks on the body kit. DDE sent there 720 to Arizona to Bspoke and spent a couple of months putting on the GT body kit widebody kit they say it was over a 1000 hours. So great job considering you do it part time.

In my 25 years of auto mechanics white smoke 95% of the time is combustion gas getting into your cooling system meaning head gasket starting to fail. Bluish/white smoke is oil. I'd do a test on the cooling system to check for combustion gas and do a compression test. It will run fine until it blows but alot of white smoke to little white smoke back to alot is usually always coolant...

Great progress dude. With the smoking it’s going to need a good spirited drive to clear it out, need the exhaust and turbos hot for it to fully burn off. Looking sweet though bro 👊🏻
